Bare-faced beauty!

Katherine Heigl stepped out in Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighborhood Tuesday in Uggs, black leggings, and a cream cardigan. Noticeably absent from the One for the Money star's casual look? Makeup! Heigl, 33, opted to go cosmetics-free for her day of errands. (Before heading out, Heigl hugged her two dogs -- and hubby Josh Kelley -- goodbye).

The fresh-faced star (and mom to 3-year-old Naleigh) has talked before about her low-key approach to style and beauty. For big events, Heigl cops to enlisting the help of professionals. "If it's the Emmys or the Oscars, I need a little extra help," the actress has admitted. But when it comes to her daily routine, the star says she prefers to be the one in charge of her look.

"I just like to do it myself because I don't like all the hoopla," Heigl told InStyle in 2009. "Inevitably it's me who knows what I want. When I leave the house, I want to look in the mirror and go, 'I feel like the best version of myself in this.'"

How I love women who are so unmade up, especially when unnecessary. Heigl is one lady I admire so much for this. There is nothing like the natural fresh-faced lady, especially if there's little or nothing on your face to cover up with a make up.

Katherine is one of those people who looks very made up with a little make-up on, I think the natural look is much more attractive on her.
