At long last, Minnie Driver's secret is out!
The actress has kept the identity of her son Henry's father private since giving birth in September 2008 -- until now. Speaking to The Observer, Driver, 42, reveals she conceived a child with a writer from the now-defunct FX TV series The Riches.
"I don't need to protect him anymore," Driver explains. "He can fend for himself. He's a grown-up. We weren't together and he wasn't directly in the business so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity."
"He's not famous," Driver adds. "There's no big story."
Driver does not name her baby-daddy outright, but does admit that he's doing his best as a father. "Is he a good dad? Sort of. He's figuring it out," she tells The Observer. "I mean, he hasn't been that involved -- his choice. But he is now."
Driver -- whose exes include Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Harrison Ford -- says she can't envision herself having another child "without a partner."

"I couldn't do two as a single mom, I really couldn't," Driver says. "it would be too much."
