Karl Lagerfeld: Adele Is "Too Fat"

Is this that the official opinion from the House of Chanel or just the words of a bitter old has-been? Someone tell Karl the world has changed - his opinion no longer matters.

Speaking of bad behavior--this fossil looks like the Crypt Keeper, and he has the gall to criticize another's appearance???? He's so old, he farts dust, but he's going to say something about someone else???

This is what is wrong with the fashion industry, if you are a designer you should be able to design for any size.

I've always been suspicious of anyone who believes people should have the figures of prepubescent children. Just saying it is not natural for people to be shapeless so that they are the canvas for someone's idea of art or clothes. You want shapeless people make an avatar.

and this is one of the many reasons i dont go out, and blow away thousands of dollars on designer clothes... cause they dont appeciate all types of body types!!! walmart does me just fine for clothes!! :)

"If" Adele is too fat she can do something about it if she chooses. Lagerfeld is old and ugly and there ain't much you can do to fix old and ugly.

I honestly don't think the problem here is so much that he called her fat because if you're fat, then you are fat, if you're skinny, you are skinny. The problem is it that when people speak about women, why do they always reduce them to their weight and mention that? Does the weight of a person really make them good or bad and determine their self worth? This is the reason why so many young people are out their thinking they are not worthy because people have deduced them to their physical appearance and they waste their time focusing on that and wallowing in self hatred rather than trying to become better people who focus on their dreams or developing a talent they may have!

Which is why I think Adele is a badass! I remember her saying in an interview that her aim and goal in life is never to be skinny but to be a good artist and boy is she! Her songs are beautiful and she has an amazing voice and talent. And it really is a shame that Karl Lagerfeld had to talk about her weight like that considering that regardless Adele is super talented, beautiful and she is quite stylish. She has an old school 60's vibe going in her wardrobe/hair/makeup and she always looks quite beautiful and cute! Way better than her thinner counterparts in the industry, if you ask me! I love how classy she is!

And Karl is a great designer, actually one of the few left who create quality clothes and fashion shows but he needs an attitude readjustment and considering that he was on the fluffy side himself and always was a brilliant designer, he should know that the weight of a person is the last thing people should mention when talking about their person!

I don't care how much money this guy has or who he is...An #$%$ is an #$%$ no matter what kind of clothes he wears or how much money he has!!! She can drop a few pounds if she choses but he's a horrible person for saying that, and you can't fix that kind of ugly!

Wow he is too judging of the world and its changing fast, most women are not a size 0-6 any more most are over the size ten i dont see many people buying chanel clothing anymore. just their accessories. because some designers refuse to design larger clothing which is #$%$
