Julie Bowen Copies Olivia Wilde's 2008 Emmy Dress at Golden Globes

At Sunday night's Golden Globes, Julie Bowen told Ryan Seacrest that the old Hollywood nude-colored Reem Acra dress with beaded cap sleeves she chose for the award show was "very girlie" for her.

But what the Modern Family star, 41, didn't mention was that Olivia Wilde donned the exact same dress in ivory at the 2008 Emmy Awards.

The Tron: Legacy star, 27, paired the sweetheart-style design with drop earrings and a loose updo, while Bowen went with retro curls and minimal jewelry.

How is it the same dress when there are two different fabrics used? If it is in fact the same dress then the faux pas belongs to Reem Acra who should have realized this before lending the dress to Julie. Not like it mattes to anyone but the stupid writers at US Weekly anyway...Why would Julie even care to mention that Olivia wore it? This is such a silly article.

The dress it beautiful all by itself, and works nicely on both ladies. I can't decide who I like it better on, but both worked it!

They both look great in the dress but I feel like Olivia wears it better only because Julie gets lost in the color. Her skin tone is too close to the shade she's wearing.

You can tell Julie is very jealous of Sofia V. and Sofia's in your face performance when their TV show won. I thought Sofia was very beautiful and I'm glad when Julie tried to pull her out of the front of the group and away from the mike, Sofia stood firm. Sofia was beautiful, funny and I'm glad she took front and center stage and she had just lost to the elegant and gorgeous Jessica Lange. So, Sofia deserved to get a group win out of her individual loss.

  I actually thought Sofia was obnoxious and immature. I don't hate her, but I believe she only gets nominated because she's currently getting a lot of attention from the media.
