    Dallas Gets Second Season

    Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson in 'Dallas' -- TNT

    Good news, "Dallas" fans, TNT has confirmed a second season of the show.

    On Friday, the network revealed that the primetime soap will continue beyond its first season.

    Even better news for the Southfork fans? The next season will have 15 episodes, when it hits the airwaves in 2013.

    "'Dallas' has been a success for us on every level: pitch-perfect writing, smart directing and buzz-worthy performances by a new generation of stars and their iconic counterparts," Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies said in a statement. "With 'Dallas'' top-flight ratings, robust growth through time-shifted viewing and the extensive online buzz, it's clear the Ewings of Southfork have once again captured the imagination of viewers."

    The show stars Josh Henderson as J.R. Ewing's son John Ross, Jesse Metcalfe as Christopher Ewing, Jordana Brewster as Elena Ramos, Julia Gonzalo as Rebecca Sutter, and original "Dallas" stars Larry Hagman as J.R., Patrick Duffy as Bobby Ewing and Linda Gray as Sue Ellen Ewing.

    "Dallas" airs Wednesdays at 9 PM on TNT.
