Ever wonder what Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi would look like without several layers of bronzer, fake eyelashes and a permanent smoky eye?

Wonder no more. The 24-year-old Jersey Shore star unveiled a makeup-free face on Twitter Wednesday, letting her natural beauty take center stage.

VIDEO: Snooki on her body: "What the hell happened?"

Fans praised the MTV star's fresh-faced look, prompting the 4-foot-9 "Princess of Poughkeepsie" to express her gratitude via the social networking site.

"Can I just say how amazing my fans/supporters are!" Polizzi wrote. "You guys really know how to put a smile on my face! Love you all beyond words."

Polizzi's makeunder comes just weeks after her costar, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, went au naturale for an xojane.com photo shoot.

I think she looks great with a fresh natural face. Sometimes all that makeup,not just for her,but for anyone makes a person look like a drag queen thats trying to hard. Natural with just a little help from cosmetics is the best way to go. Let people see & like the real you so they wont be scared the first time they see you without any makeup on.

Used to think that Snooki looked kinda like a "chola", but now that I see her without makeup, Ithink? She doesn't need all that eyeliner and she doesn't need to tar her lashes with mascara in order for her to look pretty!
