Victoria Beckham/Twitter
It seems that Victoria Beckham just doesn't know her place -- at least, not when she's on a plane.
Just before her flight touched down in Beijing on Friday, the former Spice Girl turned soccer wife tweeted her arrival in a manner that sent Cathay Pacific Airlines through the roof (or the skies).
"Cabin crew prepare for landing! Welcome to Beijing!! X vb," she wrote, pairing the tweet with a photo of herself next to a flight attendant in a crew-only area on the plane. In the picture, the two gals ham it up for the camera, with Posh pretending to make a flight announcement and the flight attendant playfully disapproving.
But a spokesperson for the airline didn't see the joke.
"It was inappropriate as ... the crew seats are only for the cabin crew and passengers should not be allowed to touch any of the aircraft equipment," the spokesperson said, even though Beckham never made an actual announcement and the photo was taken at a noncritical point in the flight.
She and her daughter, Harper, were traveling to Beijing to launch Beckham's new edition of a luxury mini SUV, the Range Rover Evoque. On the red carpet for the event, she struck a pose in three different outfits to promote the vehicle she designed. She struck a single pose all three times:
