Shannen Doherty is really doing the rounds this week. First she reunited with her "Charmed" co-star Holly Marie Combs, and now she's back in the arms of her "Beverly Hills, 90210" cast mates!
The 41-year-old star was caught in a tight embrace with old "90210" co-stars Jennie Garth and Ian Ziering at the premiere of Garth's new show, "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country." (The screening also doubled as Garth's birthday party -- hence the celebratory spirit.)
Apparently, 18 years is enough time for Garth and Ziering to get past Doherty's well-publicized bad behaviour on the set of the original "90210," which led to her departure in 1994. ("Saved by the Bell's" Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was cast to take over the show's bad-girl role.)
In her 2008 book, "sTORI Telling," fellow "90210" cast mate Tori Spelling wrote that Doherty and Garth once got into a fistfight on set. Garth has even admitted that back in 1992, "Shannen Doherty and I fought like cats and dogs."
Despite their fraught relationship, Garth and Doherty reunited on the set of The CW's "90210" reboot in 2008 -- and, for the record, it went smoothly.
Meanwhile, Ziering, who played goofy Steve Sanders on the Fox show, was serious when it came to his disdain for his volatile co-star.
"I'm pretty happy she's gone, actually," he told Entertainment Weekly when Doherty left after the fourth season. "I never liked her. Just a total lack of professionalism. Whatever. She's gone. She's history."
But it looks like that's all water under the bridge. Or maybe the old adage is true: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
