Sarah Jessica Parker promotes "I Don't Know How She Does It" in Moscow. (Getty Images)Saying Sarah Jessica Parker has a flair for the dramatic might be a bit of an understatement, but the actress really outdid herself while promoting her new flick, "I Don't Know How She Does It," in Moscow.
Anybody could promote a film in a bright red dress, but only Parker would look at that outfit and think, "You know what's missing? A matching cape."
And whether you're a cape enthusiast or not, you have to admit it looks great on camera. Look at that thing billow! But it's hard to look at this picture and not immediately think back to Parker's performance as the evil witch Sarah Sanderson in 1993's "Hocus Pocus." It's been more than 18 years since "Hocus Pocus" was released, but there are definite similarities between Parker's fashion sense then and now. Take a look at Parker's witchy look from way back when:
Sure, Parker's hair was blonder and her costume a little darker, but all the same elements are there: the cleavage-bearing bodice of the dress and the cape flitting in the wind.
Yes, it's all likely just a coincidence, but it's more fun to pretend Parker was doing a callback to her most impressive on-screen performance of all time.
