After her summer fling with the infamous playboy John Mayer came to a reportedly hostile finish, Katy Perry has traded in her sad sack for a happy pair of Mickey Mouse ears at Disneyland!
In what's probably the best post-breakup action plan we've ever heard, the "Wide Awake" singer recently took a jaunt to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, to turn her frown upside down.
"Today I am promised happiness. Let's do this!" Perry tweeted Saturday.
The "Part of Me" singer followed up later with a photo of herself and a friend at the resort's exclusive Club 33 bar and restaurant, appropriately dressed in the signature mouse ears, with the caption, "Why, yes! WE will dine with you, Walt!"

Mayer, on the other hand, did something a little more drastic after he ended his brief dalliance with Perry. The "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer debuted a new short 'do Saturday at a party for "The Mindy Kaling Project" in Los Angeles. We don't know if he's still "Waiting on the World to Change," but it's clear he needed one in his own life.

Alas, beautiful as it was, we suspected from the start that the Perry-Mayer pairing wasn't forever -- but looking at Mayer's list of past partners, it seems that the heartbreak doesn't last forever. Jessica Simpson is now engaged and has a new daughter, Jennifer Aniston is also planning her wedding with boyfriend Justin Theroux, and Taylor Swift is smitten with Conor Kennedy.
With rumours already swirling around Perry and Robert Pattinson, we're thinking this California Gurl will be back on her sparkly stilettoed feet in no time.
