Two decades after winning over teen America as the cute, soft-skulled Joey on "Blossom," Joey Lawrence is finally giving the girls what they want. The actor is reportedly joining the famed male stripper group Chippendales for a limited run
All together now: Whoa!
The 36-year-old actor, who rose to fame on the NBC sitcom in the early '90s, will don little more than a bow tie for a three-week special engagement with the adults-only Las Vegas dance troupe in June.
Lawrence's rep told TMZ that he will go "the whole nine yards," whatever that means (we'll leave it up to your imagination).
Since leaving "Blossom" in 1995, Lawrence has continued to act and make music -- he is currently working on his third (!) album.
But if his guns in Old Navy's new "Blossom"-throwback commercial are anything to go by, he remains the stuff of adolescent fantasy.
"It was really fun to be back on the set with Mayim [Bialik] and bring back the 'whoa!'" Lawrence said of the ad.
No doubt he will be bringing it back again this summer.
