For 10 seasons on Fox, it was the biggest mystery of them all: Would "The X-Files'" Mulder and Scully ever get together?
They finally did in the downbeat finale to "The X-Files" in 2002, but rumour now has it that the show's two stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, have followed suit.
Though we want to believe, we're taking it with a grain of salt, considering the source: Celebrity Dirty Laundry claims to have learned exclusively that Duchovny and Anderson are living together in Los Angeles.

Anderson, who recently announced her split from boyfriend of six years Mark Griffiths, has reportedly been in a relationship with her former co-star for some time and even admitted in a new interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times that she is attached.
"Um...yes...um...um," she stuttered when asked if she had a partner.
The rumour comes as a bit of a surprise, considering "The X-Files" stars were somewhat infamous for feuding on the Vancouver set of the show that made them stars. Duchovny is said to have left over the rift.
"Familiarity breeds contempt. It's nothing to do with the other person," Duchovny told the U.K.'s Metro in 2008. "We used to argue about nothing. We couldn't stand the sight of each other."

The 52-year-old actor wed Tea Leoni in 1997, and they have two children together. They split last year after reports that Duchovny had entered rehab for sex addiction.
Meanwhile, Anderson has been married twice and has three children, two of whom she had with Griffiths. In March, the 43-year-old actress revealed that she has also been in relationships with women.
