Dee Jay Daniels. (Handout)In one short decade, Dee Jay Daniels has gone from being a child star to being wanted for murder.
The 23-year-old actor, who made his name as the cute son on "The Hughleys" from 1998 to 2002, is currently being held in a San Joaquin County jail on allegations that he was involved in the fatal August 2011 stabbing of a man outside a California nightclub.

Daniels, whose real name is Dorjan Lyndell Daniels, is barely recognizable in his mugshot, in which he sports various face tattoos, including a star beneath his right eye. It's a far cry from the smiling, clean-faced 10-year-old Michael Hughley we remember from the ABC sitcom.
Daniels was reportedly arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, gang activity, and the premeditated murder of 26-year-old John Joseph. He is accused of being a member of the infamous Bloods gang and could face life in prison.
Daniels began his career in 1996 on the series "Men Behaving Badly" and also appeared on "Family Matters" and "ER." His last role was in 2006 in a small role on the CBS show "Cold Case."
