    • Taylor and Conor the way they were. (INFDaily.com)

Get ready to hear lots of jokes about how Taylor Swift is singing her hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" to Conor Kennedy. The couple has called it quits after just a few months of dating, according to Us Weekly. Swift's grueling schedule as she released her new album, Red, this week was apparently the reason. "They quietly parted ways a while ago," an unnamed close friend of the singer-songwriter tells the magazine. "It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine." The source adds that "it's been over a month since they've even seen other. With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year."

Part of the reason Kennedy couldn't just take off and travel with his 22-year-old girlfriend is that he's in school. Kennedy, 18, is a student at Deerfield Academy, a prestigious Massachusetts boarding school. Perhaps the age issue also was part of the problem?

    • If it weren't for "Like a Virgin," Madonna probably wouldn't have fallen so gracefully while performing "Like a Prayer" in Dallas.

The Queen of Pop literally fell head over heels during one of her concerts in Dallas this weekend. The 54-year-old songstress was busy engaging the audience in a sing-along to "Like a Prayer," crouching down on stage to grab her fans' hands. But one audience member appeared to get a little too enthusiastic, pulling Madge into a tumble.

Luckily, Madonna was not hurt. On the contrary, she rolled on to the floor until she was back on her knees, got up and continued the show as if nothing happened. Eagle-eyed fans may recognize the move from her performance of "Like a Virgin" at the MTV Video Music Awards back in the '80s.

When Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were married October 19 in Italy, the former 'NSync boy bander sang his bride down the aisle, crooning an original song that he wrote for the occasion, which left nary a dry eye in the house. However, when it came time for the couple's first dance, they relied on a classic tune — "A Song for You" by Donny Hathaway.

"A Song for You" is actually one of the most-covered songs in modern music history. Written and recorded by music legend Leon Russell, it appeared on his eponymous album in 1970. The love song seems on target for the celebrity couple as it tells the story of a famous singer who hopes to live up to the expectations of his lady love. Noting that they had been through some tough times ("I've treated you unkindly") — making us think of Timberlake and Biel's brief split — he says there is no one more important than she is, she's made him a better man, and he'll love her "for my life."

ust as Jessica Simpson is planning her wedding, her parents are ending their own marriage. On Wednesday, Joe and Tina Simpson announced they're divorcing after 34 years. "It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved," the couple said in a statement. "Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time."

Those allegations they're referring to is a National Enquirer report this week that the minister-turned-manager recently confessed to his family that he is gay. "Joe got the family together about two months ago and came out of the closet," a source told the tabloid.

It can be a shocking, scary, and upsetting thing to witness a car accident right outside your home. But if you live in L.A., like model Leann Tweeden does, the experience can be soothed by the appearance of heartthrob actors like Armie Hammer coming to the rescue.

"So random random RANDOM," the 39-year-old model wrote on her Facebook page on Monday. "I was sitting in my house when I hear an accident tonight. I throw on my shoes and run out of my house to see if I can help... I run up as a guy is helping an older woman (60ish?) out of her smashed up car that both airbags deployed in."

But this year that wasn't enough to get him to the top of our list of the Top Earning Dead Celebrities. Instead, Jackson ranks second. Taking his place in the No. 1 spot is Elizabeth Taylor. The glamorous actress, who was 79 when she passed away last year, earned a staggering $210 million last year.

Most of that money came from the record-breaking Christie's auctions of the star's jewelry, costumes and art work. The multi-day auction brought in $184 million. Every one of the 1,800 lots sold. The most expensive items were an 1889 Van Gogh painting that sold for $16 million.

Judi Dench literally sparkled at the "Skyfall" premiere in London on Tuesday.

The 77-year-old British star, who reprises her role as M in the latest Bond installment, sported a sparkly "007" Swarovski neck tattoo on the red carpet Tuesday, eclipsing even the hottest Bond girls.

Dench's accessory was similar to the red crystal back tattoo she sported to the premiere of another Bond film, "Quantum of Solace," back in 2008.

    • ‘X Factor’ Top 16 Finally Revealed — With One Shocking Omission

      Jillian Jensen goes home

On Tuesday night, during a special partial "X Factor" rebroadcast--after last week's final Judges' Houses episode was disastrously preempted, much to Simon Cowell's chagrin--this season's top 16 were finally announced. But to the shock of viewers who hadn't already seen last week's Canadian spoilers, fan favorite and early frontrunner Jillian Jensen was not among those (bitter)sweet 16.

Jillian was the bullying victim/Demi Lovato fangirl with the "Stay Strong" tattoo who sobbed throughout her emotional audition of Jessie J's empowerment anthem "Who You Are" back on "The X Factor's" Season 2 premiere...and when an also-sobbing Demi rushed onstage to embrace Jillian, while even Simon observed the scene through uncharacteristically misty eyes, it became THE most talked- and tweeted-about moment of the season so far. But this week, Demi and Jillian were crying for a very different reason, when Jillian was cut during the final Judges' Houses rounds.

"I don't see this being the end," Jillian said with a previously unseen amount of confidence earlier in the episode, before Demi announced her controversial cut. And even after Demi told Jillian she was going home, Jillian's best friend on the show, Jennel Garcia (who had already made it through), eavesdropped, heard Jillian's sobs, and said optimistically, "I'm almost positive that's a good cry."

    • Mr. and Mrs. Timberlake. (People)

Justin Timberlake is so excited to be Jessica Biel's husband, he can hardly contain himself. The singer-turned-actor is literally jumping for joy on the cover of People magazine, which has exclusive photos of his and Biel's romantic October 19 wedding that took place at the picturesque Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia, Italy. "It was a really special evening," Timberlake, 31, tells the mag. Adds his bride, "It was a total fantasy experience."

Biel, 30, shunned the traditional white gown for the big event. The "Total Recall" actress stunned in a custom-designed petal-pink strapless Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown that was described by stylist Bobbie Thomas as having a "princess-like silhouette." As for her groom, he reportedly opted for a crisp Tom Ford tuxedo.

    • Geena Davis (Getty Images)

Geena Davis just gets better with age.

The 56-year-old actress turned heads on the red carpet at the Princess Grace Foundation Awards gala in Manhattan on Monday night. Davis wore a shimmery gold gown that exposed one shoulder and hugged her curves for the posh affair. Her long, wavy auburn hair was down, and her flawless porcelain skin glowed.

It's hard to believe that it was over 20 years ago that we watched Davis and her "Thelma & Louise" co-star Susan Sarandon, 66, speed off in a Thunderbird convertible — and into movie history. Both women have aged so gracefully.

Late last month Davis, who in 2004 founded the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media to change the way females are portrayed in feature films, talked about the impact that role had on her career. "'Thelma & Louise' effectively changed the course of my life," she said at the Women's Foundation of Colorado luncheon. "It has driven my commitment to empower women. ... [Over the years, women have approached me to share] the impact the movie had made in their lives. How it made them feel empowered. That brought home to me in a big way how few opportunities we have to feel strongly about characters like this in movies."
