Jack and Sharon Osbourne, members of America's first reality TV family, were honored on Friday in Los Angeles for their bravery in overcoming his Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.
The Race 2 Erase MS, a fundraiser now in it's 20th year, awarded mother and son their Medal of Hope for increasing the visibility of the disease through platforms like Osbourne's CBS chat show "The Talk."
"He is the bravest boy, man, father, person, I know," sister Kelly Osbourne said introducing him.
In June of 2012, Jack was diagnosed just two weeks after the birth of his daughter Pearl. But Saturday, in the grand ballroom of the Hyatt Century Plaza, he was all smiles.
"I feel like this is the bar mitzvah I never had," he joked onstage before a crowd celebs, donors and medical pros.
