On Tuesday, the first complete season of "New Girl" came out on DVD and Blu-ray, and in celebration, we've got a deleted scene to share.
From one of the last episodes the season -- when Jess (Zooey Deschanel) was in the midst of dating the older, more mature Russell (Dermot Mulroney) -- viewers are privy to the unique dynamic between Nick (Jake Johnson) and Ms. Day as they discuss the pitfalls of a "nice" relationship. (You know, the relationship they don't seem to have with each other -- which would arguably make them the perfect couple.)

However, regardless of how frustrated Nick and Jess' lack of romance makes anyone feel, most "New Girl" fans can agree that there's nothing wrong with another scene attesting to their inevitable affair. Or, at the very least, a scene in which one can be justified in trying to sabotage something "nice" in an attempt to find passion. (Not that anyone here is condoning anything like that.)
