Aaron Paul's 'Price Is Right' Past

    NBC

If you ever wanted to see Jesse Pinkman meet Bob Barker, your time has come.

During his appearance on "The Tonight Show" last week, Jay Leno surprised "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul with footage of his 1998 stint on "The Price Is Right." Making it all the way to the Showcase Showdown, Aaron acted like Jesse Pinkman on a bender, with no Walter White to talk him down.

Obviously, we can't blame him. If any of us were called down to be the next contestant, we'd make Aaron's enthusiastic appearance seem tamer than Gus Fring's general demeanor. And decked out in a T-shirt and a CBS bumper sticker, Paul earns further points for having his priorities straight: opting not to divulge his acting career, he told producers he sold jeans at the Gap before bidding $1,200 for the heaviest-looking desk in the world.

Whether or not the producers of "Breaking Bad" used this clip as part of Aaron's audition process, we'll never know (they probably didn't -- but we wish they had). But you can't help but think Aaron was seconds away from screaming "yo!" as he reveled in his Bob Barker encounter.
