    • The "Veronica Mars" Kickstarter campaign raised more than $2.5 million in less than a day.The fans have spoken: They want a "Veronica Mars" movie. And thanks to their donations totaling $2 million, they'll get it.

It's been more than five years since the smart, sassy teen detective drama with film noir elements said farewell. Since then, series creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell have teased the possibility of a follow-up film, but the prospect seemed unlikely, since the series was so low-rated on UPN and The CW, until now.

Thomas decided to use Kickstarter to raise enough money to film the low-budget movie. Warner Bros. pledged that if the campaign reached the $2 million mark, they would finance the movie's marketing and distribution.

Fans answered the call in droves, setting a Kickstarter record by raising $1 million in four hours and 25 minutes, officially making the "Veronica Mars" movie the most-funded film or video project in the crowdfunding site's history. In less than half a day, the $2 million goal was met.

"My mind is blown. I've been

Following its renewal last year, "The Real Housewives of Vancouver" is well into its second season -- and rightfully so. The combination of last season's stars (Jody, Ronnie, and Mary) and new cast members Amanda, Loulia, and Robin have prevented the show from being redundant, and offered a new dynamic to a series built on new interpretations of the same old.

After all, how many times can we watch six women talk about excess, treat each other badly, and throw lavish parties that don't involve any other "normal" guests (i.e. people not vying for an appearance on a reality show)? Without new cast members and an actual narrative, there's no point -- which explains why "The Bachelor Canada" has also been renewed: a new star makes all the difference.

    • Tim Allen, Jonathan Taylor Thomas Reunite in ‘Last Man Standing’ [Photos]

Yahoo! TV/Carin Baer/ABC - "College Girl" - Jonathan Taylor Thomas makes a special guest star appearance when he reunites with Tim Allen, his dad from "Home Improvement."

Former tween heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas will reunite with his one-time TV dad, Tim Allen, on March 22 when Thomas guests on Allen's sitcom "Last Man Standing."

Thomas, who played middle child Randy Taylor to Tim Allen and Patricia Richardson's Tim and Jill Taylor on "Home Improvement," was a regular "Tiger Beat" cover boy in the mid- to late '90s thanks to the sitcom's popularity -- but after the show ended in 1999, Thomas adopted a surprisingly low profile, heading for college (starting out at Harvard in 2000, he finally got his degree from Columbia a few years ago) and traveling. Thomas told Entertainment Weekly back in 2011 that his co-stars Zachery Ty Bryan and Taran Noah Smith -- who played his brothers Brad and Mark, respectively -- used to tease him about his pin-up status, but he understood: "There are too many things you could make fun of." But Thomas didn't seem in any rush to return to the headlines, telling EW he'd like to focus on working behind the camera down the road. (At that time, Thomas also said he hadn't yet heard from Allen about a "Last Man Standing" guest shot.)

    • Jake Johnson and Zooey Deschanel on "New Girl." (FOX)

In January, "New Girl" fans were rocked by the kiss. You know -- the kiss. The kiss we've all been waiting for: the one between "will they or won't they?" poster children, Nick (Jack Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel). Thanks to that kiss, their chemistry has reached a pinnacle.

But that was four whole episodes ago. And while Nick told Jess he didn't regret kissing her in the show's 17th episode ("Parking Spot"), there still seems to be no real progress in the Nick and Jess romantic storyline. Which, frankly, is the worst.

SPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers for the season finale of "The Bachelor" with Sean Lowe. Read at your own risk!

After all the roses, romantic dates, passionate kisses, and declarations of feelings, this season of "The Bachelor" ended with a proposal: Sean Lowe chose Catherine Giudici over Lindsay Yenter in the finale.

Lowe got down on one knee to propose to the 26-year-old graphic designer from Seattle.

"This has been such a crazy journey and there have been so many unexpected, wonderful moments with you. I knew from the very beginning that you were someone I wanted to be around, I just had no idea that my feelings would turn into what they have turned into. You never cease to amaze me. You never do. I think the world of you," he said.

"And I miss you -- every time we have to say goodbye, I miss you. I don't want to say goodbye anymore. Catherine, I want to spend the rest of my life telling you I love you and making you feel like the most special,

Growing up with “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” as a kid meant that no matter how great your own high school experience was, you knew it wouldn’t be as cool as Sabrina Spellman’s. She had a talking cat, an Other Realm in her linen closet, and one amazing '90s-era wardrobe. Who could compete with that?

To celebrate the beloved show that was “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” let's take a look at what its stars have been up to since.

    • It's International Women's Day! And what better way to celebrate than to combine trailblazing actors, comedians, and writers with our favourite pop culture medium? (That would be TV, by the way.) Here are ten of TV's strongest heroines, in no particular order (and yes, we understand if you cancel your Friday plans to watch reruns tonight).

      Tina Fey

      NBC

She climbed the ranks of "Saturday Night Live," then created, wrote, and starred in "30 Rock," arguably one of television's funniest and most celebrated TV shows ever. She gave us such bon mots as "blerg," "jags," and "I want to go to there" -- and now she's working on a "Mean Girls" musical. That is so fetch.

For "Smash" aficionados, this week marked a tragic moment in the series' legacy: the show hit a ratings low since its premiere last in February 2012. A mere 2.6 million viewers tuned in for Tuesday's episode, and the installment earned a paltry 0.7 share in the Nielsen ratings.

Oof. Evidently, a lack of scarves, the removal of Season 1 characters, and the addition of a singing waiter lacking sideburns has not only failed to earn new viewers in 2013, but they've contributed to the exit of existing ones, too. And while Season 1's Bollywood dance numbers and Uma Thurman's guest spot were admittedly preposterous (why would Thurman's peanut allergy-ridden character risk her life by drinking a peanut-tainted milkshake just to give Karen a shot at being Marilyn Monroe?!), this season's lack of insanity makes the show fall flat in comparison.

    • Kandyse McClure (Courtesy of Anderson Group PR)

If you’ve never heard of Kandyse McClure, you may want to talk to your friends who watch(ed) the 2004 sci-fi series “Battlestar Galactica.” The actress played the ever-optimistic Officer Anastasia “Dee” Dualla, who irked the ladies when she married the handsome fighter pilot Lee “Apollo” Adama (she stole him from Starbuck) and shocked fans with her heartbreaking, sudden suicide (gun shot to the head).

See more: Is "Smash" any better this season?

But make no mistake, McClure isn’t Dualla. The South African-born, Vancouver-bred actress, 32, who has relocated to Toronto, has a new role in the Netflix original series, “Hemlock Grove.” Produced by horror king Eli Roth (“Hostel,” “Inglorious Basterds”), McClure plays Dr. Clementine Chasseur, an animal behaviourist (or “fancy dog catcher” as McClure describes her) with a history of self-destruction.

“Hemlock Grove,” based on a novel by Brian McGreevy, revolves around the murder of a young girl in a Pennsylvania steel town. But this isn’t a
