"Homeland's" second episode of the season took viewers from the U.S. to Beirut, Lebanon, where Carrie (Claire Danes) helped orchestrate a strike against Taliban leaders who were meeting in the city. While many television critics praised the Beirut-set scenes for their well-paced suspense and drama, the episode also drew the ire of both Lebanese and Israeli citizens, because it wasn't actually filmed in Beirut -- it was filmed in Tel Aviv, Israel.

According to Entertainment Weekly, not only is "Homeland's" depiction of Beirut inaccurate, the choice to use Israel in the first place is insulting to Beirutis, since they view Israelis as their enemies. So insulting, in fact, that Lebanese Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud is considering a lawsuit after one scene in particular.

"It showed Harma Street with militia roaming in it," Abboud told the Associated Press. "It was not filmed in Beirut, and does not portray the real image of Beirut."

Diem Brown showed some muscle when she competed on MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge," but she's exhibiting far more strength during her real-life battle with ovarian cancer. In June, the TV personality was diagnosed with the disease for the second time, and she's been candidly sharing her story, including undergoing controversial fertility procedures with the hope of freezing her eggs as well as the most recent development — hair loss.

"This week I wanted to do something a lil different," the 30-year-old writes in her blog for People magazine. "One, because I've been really quite ill and haven't been able to think straight through the medication haze to write a coherent blog. And two, because making a chemo hair loss video is something I have always wanted to do — video of the hair loss process was something I had searched for the first time I had cancer."

It's the third week of "The Bachelor Canada," and the drama is getting real. After enjoying a Mexican vacation, facing off in a lumberjack "date," and offering a surprise twist that saw four contestants go home, Brad and his ladies are showing the original series how a reality show is done.

Kim Kardashian certainly knows how to work an outfit. But when a look flopped on her recent stay in Miami, the reality TV star was the first to say so.

Writing on her blog, Kardashian, who is in Florida to film her show "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami," wrote on her website, "Ok, ok, I am putting myself on the worst dress list for this outfit!"

She included multiple photos, 'natch, of the fashion disaster: a leather mini paired with a big and bulky neon jacket that did not flatter her curvy figure.

Sheen? Who's Charlie Sheen? The volatile actor topped our list of Highest-Paid TV Actors last year with $40 million. This year he's nowhere to be seen. Instead, the actor who took over his lead role on the hit CBS sitcom "Two and A Half Men" ranks in the No. 1 spot. We estimate that Ashton Kutcher earned $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

Kutcher has proven that he can hold his own on the show. "Two and a Half Men" attracts an average 12 million viewers per show making it the most-watched sitcom on TV. That's given Kutcher plenty of money to invest in the Silicon Valley startups that have become his passion. Kutcher was an early investor in Skype, Spotify, and Airbnb.

Things are no longer rosy for Emily Maynard and Jef Holm.

The "Bachelorette" stars, who got engaged in July in the series' Season 8 finale, confirmed today that they have split. The blow comes after Holm changed his Facebook status from engaged to single while both of them removed each other from their Twitter pictures.

What could have possibly gone wrong in such a short period of time?

Jennie Garth played the big sister to Amanda Bynes in the WB sitcom "What I Like About You." And in real life, the single mom of three is hoping to rekindle her bond with the troubled actress.

The 40-year-old told Us Weekly, "I tried reaching out to her and I haven't been able to reach her." She added, "My heart feels for whatever she is going through and I love her dearly." Garth has been in the news herself lately, as she went through a painful and public divorce to her husband, "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli.

The 26-year-old could use some support: The star hasn't worked since her role in the movie "Easy A," after she famously quit acting at 24, Bynes then "unretired" a month later to promote the movie. But after a DUI arrest and two alleged hit-and-runs, Bynes's BMW has been impounded, and her fortunes have changed. On Monday, Bynes pleaded not guilty to two counts of driving on a suspended license. She also faces a DUI charge and two counts of hit-and-run, and is due back in court Nov. 29.

Hot on the heels of Seth MacFarlane's appointment as Oscar host, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have been booked for the 2013 Golden Globes.

When the Golden Globes air on Sunday, Jan. 13, the best friends and former 'Saturday Night Lives' stars will take the reigns from Ricky Gervais, who hosted the awards for two consecutive years, leaving quite the damaged path in his wake. However, unlike the sharp-tongued Gervais, who became notorious for insulting the very actors he was supposed to be celebrating, Poehler and Fey have been recruited by NBC and Dick Clark Productions for their unique dynamic with each other.

"Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup," Paul Telegdy, President of NBC Entertainment's Alternative and Late Night Programming, said in a statement. "Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on 'SNL' to their successful co-starring roles in 'Baby Mama.'"

He makes a good argument. In addition to their work on TV and in movies, Poehler and Fey have proven they're more than capable in handling the awards show circuit.
