Alec Baldwin and new wife Hilaria Thomas. (Twitter) You might say Alec Baldwin has a love-hate relationship with Twitter. The actor has famously quit the online social networking service a few times now, usually in some sort of fit of anger. But on Wednesday he decided to mark a milestone with a personal photo. "My 8000th tweet is a smile to @hilariabladwin," he wrote, posting a never-before-seen pic of him and new wife Hilaria Thomas gazing at each other during their June wedding.
Back in December, the "30 Rock" star deactivated his Twitter account after getting kicked off an American Airlines flight for refusing to stop playing Words With Friends on his iPhone, and, in turn, promptly tweeted a series of disparaging remarks about the airline and the flight attendant. (But why punish your hundreds of thousands of followers because you were mad at a airline employee, Alec?)
After returning to tweeting less than a month later, Baldwin seemed to be at one with the Twitterverse … until he got into a scuffle with a photographer from the New York Daily News when he and Thomas, a 28-year-old yoga teacher, showed up at City Hall to get their marriage license in late June. The photog pressed charges against Baldwin, who in turn began tweeting gems like "I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over," and creating the hashtag "allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded."
