Hey girl, you may have helped Ryan Gosling become the most influential man in Canada.
The "Drive" and Internet meme star, who is generally considered to be one of the sexiest men on the planet, has landed in the Top 10 of Ask Men's annual Top 49 Most Influential Men list.

The 31-year-old Ontario native secured his spot at No. 10 after more than 500,000 readers reportedly answered the question, "Which male figures have made the biggest impact and, ultimately, shaped what it means to be a man of influence in 2012?"
"Ryan Gosling is a force to be reckoned with, even when he doesn't have a single movie out," the site reads. "Hot off 2011, when the actor had three monumental starring roles, Gosling cooled it down in 2012. But we're still feeling the heat from this wisecracking style icon, who makes us pay attention even when he's just a glimmer on TMZ."

A distant second in the race for top Canadian male was rapper Drake, who clocked in at No. 34. And the final Canuck to make the list, "Avatar" director James Cameron, sneaked in at No. 41.
Surprisingly, teen pop megastar Justin Bieber was nowhere to be found, though perhaps he can bask in the glow of being distantly related to Gosling. Of course, the list wasn't entirely realistic, considering the No. 1 spot went to fictional character James Bond, while "50 Shades of Grey" hero Christian Grey landed at No. 13.
