Zach Galifianakis's political candidate in "The Campaign" might be ridiculed as much as Rob Ford, so it's somewhat fitting they will be meeting up today.

The Toronto mayor will reportedly take time out of his schedule to meet with Galifianakis and co-star Will Ferrell, and some guess the unlikely trio will film a comedy sketch together. The actors are in town promoting their new comedy, which is about a congressman (Ferrell) who goes head-to-head with a new rival (Galifianakis, who based the character on an "effeminate racist" bit he came up with in high school).

According to the Toronto Sun, the comedy duo will also make stops at the Hockey Hall of Fame before joining players from the NHL at the film's Monday-night premiere at Scotiabank Theatre.

On July 17, Galifianakis and Ferrell kicked off a "Campaign" Whistle Stop Tour, mirroring the kind of campaigning their characters do onscreen. Besides the hockey team they'll meet today, earlier this month the duo met with Chelsea players, posing with the team and their Champions League trophy and FA Cup.
