Behind every great love there may be a great story, but that doesn't mean the opposite is true. At least not according to Rachel McAdams.
The 33-year-old Canadian has surprisingly claimed that film sets are "too distracting" for romance. Wait, wait, wait just a minute -- isn't this the same woman who dated her "Notebook" co-star for three years and is now seeing her "Midnight in Paris" colleague? What gives?
Well, McAdams says she forged relationships with her co-stars only after they wrapped their films together.
"Every relationship I've had with a co-worker has come after the fact, because you wind up actually spending a lot of time with those people promoting the movie," she said.
You may recall Gosling and McAdams sharing a very public smooch in June 2005, sparking rumours that the "Notebook" stars had connected off the set. That kiss occurred a year after the film had been released, and the couple later admitted they had started dating after they finished filming.
Though McAdams split from Gosling in 2007, the couple briefly reunited in 2008 but parted ways for good that same year. A year later, McAdams was seen kissing non-co-star (shock! horror!) Josh Lucas before settling in with Sheen after they worked together on Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris."
In fact, after photos emerged of McAdams getting cozy with Sheen, she told InStyle, "I usually take away one close relationship from every job, some romantic, some not."
Wait, what? Make up your mind, Rachel!
