Paulina Gretzky revealed a lot more than her famous bod in a new interview with Complex magazine. Hockey icon Wayne Gretzky's daughter finally responded to reports that her dad put a stop to her hobby for sexy social networking.

"The rumor that my dad made me shut down my Twitter account is completely false," she said, adding, "It's hurtful when this older generation of people that doesn't really understand me or take the time to get to know me trashes me."

The 23-year-old model-singer-actress, who has the number 99 tattooed on her pelvis, said, "I'm not a bimbo. I have an eight-year-old sister. The only thing I want to do is be a role model."

But that was not how she was painted in April when TMZ caught her on video dressed in barely-there lingerie on her way to dinner with some friends.

"I did it to myself that time," she said. "I always think I should dress like myself and represent who I am, but I had something in the back of my head telling me that maybe it was not a good idea to wear that outfit to dinner that night."

More than the titillating video, Gretzky took issue with the online tabloid's misrepresentation of the events.

"Of course, the next day TMZ said that I was going to nightclubs in lingerie. I wasn't," she said. "That's my biggest problem with it, that people are lying about what I'm doing. But I should have been more aware. I understand that. I just never had to censor myself before."

However, the blonde beauty did not censor the fact that she is single.

"If you can make me laugh, you can approach me," she said, though she prefers calling to texting.

So, make an orderly line, boys! Don't forget your breath mints.
