Smart move, Pamela Anderson.
The "Baywatch" beauty has admitted that she wants to move back home to the land of self-deprecators: Canada.
The 44-year-old Playboy alum and animal rights activist moved from her native B.C. to Los Angeles in the early '90s to pursue a modeling career. She now has dual Canadian and American citizenship.
But lately, Anderson has been dividing her time between L.A. and Vancouver Island, recently telling the U.K. Sun she may move back to Canada permanently, as she can't help but feel like she's "playing a character" in the city of angels.
"As soon as I get off the plane I take this big breath of air," she said of landing north of the border. "You can actually smell the sea, and I just feel like me again. "
Having put her infamous party lifestyle behind her, Anderson appears to have finally settled back into her native land.
"At home I feel completely relaxed," she told the Sun. "My hair's in a ponytail. I have my dad's flannel shirt on, and I'm running around. It's great. I am so happy that I'm from there."
Regardless of where teen sons Brandon and Dylan live, Anderson joked that they will always be brighter than her.
"All my family is in Mensa -- you wouldn't believe that one, would you?" she said, referring to the society for people with a high I.Q. "But they are on both sides. It just skipped me, but my kids are really smart."
