We've all wasted valuable time on FunnyorDie.com, watching celebrities in silly videos. Taylor Lautner starred in "Field of Dreams 2," Justin Bieber jokingly took over the site, and Natalie Portman's guest appearance on "Between Two Ferns" is hilariously awkward. But in the site's latest offering, we discover that Canadian hunk Ryan Gosling doesn't need to say one line to bring the line.
"Quiet Ryan" is a compilation of clips from Gosling's movies, including "Drive," "Blue Valentine," and "Crazy, Stupid, Love," among others. Anyone who has seen a Gosling film knows how much he can convey with a simple (albeit incredibly sexy) look, and "Quiet Ryan" takes it to the extreme: he doesn't speak in any of the clips, which becomes more and more ridiculous as the video goes on. "This year's breakout star doesn't say a lot, but speaks volumes," the video says, later adding, "He's just nice to look at." (Paired with footage of Gosling taking his shirt off, it's hard to disagree.)
Gosling is already an important part of time-wasting fun on the Internet. Photos of the Canadian actor are used on the popular blog, F*** Yeah! Ryan Gosling, where writers match imaginary, seductive Gosling quotes (beginning with "Hey Girl") with equally sexy photos of him. In fact, the site became so popular that it inspired a spin-off blog called Feminist Ryan Gosling, which is just as delightful.
