As more and more victims come forward with injuries, bruises, and cuts (including Spurs basketball star Tony Parker, who reportedly got a scratched retina), it's clear the dust has yet to settle around the alleged Chris Brown and Drake scuffle at New York City's WIP nightclub last Thursday. And as long as Drake refuses to cooperate with the NYPD, we don't know if it ever will.
The SoHo nightclub has already been shut down because of code violations, and police are still doing interviews with everyone involved in the brawl, which injured eight people. But Drake and his representatives aren't willing to talk.
"Why would he turn himself in when he did not commit any wrongdoing?" his rep, Kelly Bush, told the New York Post.
Some think Drake's nonresponse raises more questions. Why won't he talk if he has nothing to hide? Some eyewitnesses claim it was Drake who threw the first bottle after Brown allegedly sent over some Champagne as a peace offering; the two have had a simmering feud over their mutual ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, which escalated in the last few months through recordings and altercations with fellow artists linked to RiRi.
But Drizzy's entourage maintains he's innocent. Despite a few tweets, he's not even taking any jabs at Brown in his live shows (despite a few media reports and speculation), and he seems nonchalant about the whole incident.
Brown, on the other hand, and girlfriend Karrueche Tran have been following the requests of the police so far. Brown is still on probation after a physical assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
