Forgive us if you disagree, but if we had to take bets on who would win a fair fight between Aubrey "Drake" Graham and Chris "Run It" Brown (sans entourage), we'd have to go with our homeboy Drizzy. Nevertheless, the Toronto rapper is calling in a few helping biceps to escort him around Washington, D.C.
Apparently his guard is up since he, Brown, and their crews allegedly ignited a brawl in New York City's WIP nightclub on June 14, injuring eight people and causing the NYPD to shut down the club.
Drake and his reps maintain he did nothing wrong, though witnesses and victims who were at the club are reporting that he's the one who threw the first bottle.
Understandably, more security was called in for Drake's show at the Jones Beach Theatre in Long Island, N.Y. the Saturday night following the fight, but does he really think that Brown would send his flying monkeys after him in D.C.?
Well, maybe not. Drake made his way back to the nightclub scene recently at Washington's Eden lounge, when he and a group of 15 to 20 people reportedly ordered 40 bottles of alcohol, including Cristal and Patron. Everyone else has already made the jokes about none of the bottles going airborne (indeed, it was apparently a pleasant and drama-free evening), so we'll let it rest there.
Whether it's to keep his enemies or his temper at bay, Drake seems to appreciate the gravity of the fight with Brown. No charges have been made yet, but the NYPD is continuing its investigation.
