Toronto broke the heat record Tuesday (it climbed to 36 degrees Celsius!), but actress Chloe Moretz was ready for it.
The 15-year-old "Hugo" star, who is in town filming "Carrie" alongside Julianne Moore, cooled herself down with a frozen treat as she strolled through Yorkville with musician Nick Franger.

Moretz was dressed for the weather in skinny candy-floss pink pants (with matching pink sunglasses, of course) and a pastel blue shirt tied at the waist.
The teen star, who started filming with director Kimberly Peirce in the T.Dot on June 25, was working by night and taking in the sights by day. Moretz has been posting photos of her trip to Twitter, snapping the Toronto skyline from a ferry as well as the CN Tower.

Her older brother, acting coach Trevor Duke-Moretz, has been a constant presence on-set as well.
"Working hard @trevordukemoretz @cmoretz," Franger tweeted on Tuesday with a photo of the sibs studying.
"Carrie" is set to hit theatres March 15, 2013.
