It looks like Avril Lavigne traded up for her second walk down the aisle -- at least as far as rings go.
The "Wish You Were Here" singer nearly blinded Hello! As it turns out her second husband-to-be's taste in jewelry is a lot more luxurious than his predecessor's.

Though Lavigne's new rock is reportedly worth a staggering $350,000, first husband Deryck Whibley, frontman for Sum 41, opted for slightly less ostentatious bling when he proposed to his fellow Canadian in 2005. Lavigne was shown in Life & Style sporting a four-carat diamond solitaire ring after the announcement.
The couple split in 2010 after three years of marriage.
"I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship," Lavigne said at the time. "I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart."

In a surprise move, a rep for the Napanee, Ont. native told People on Tuesday that Lavigne was engaged to Kroeger after a six-month courtship that many of us didn't even know about.
"He makes me laugh every day," 27-year-old Lavigne told Hello! magazine. "He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive."
