It appears that Drake loves his hometown just as much as he loves Aaliyah.

In the wake of his collaboration on a posthumous track by the late singer, Drake unveiled his new tattoo, which celebrates both Aaliyah and Toronto.

A black-and-white photo posted on Drake's official fan site Friday shows the Toronto-born rapper getting the numbers 416 (the Canadian city's area code) inked onto his right side. The 4 is only partly filled in so it also looks like a 1 -- referencing Aaliyah's birthday on January 16.

So much for not pulling a Miley! Nina Dobrev has gone and mirrored Miley Cyrus by backing down from remarks she recently made about the pop star, who is no stranger to saying sorry herself.

The 23-year-old Canadian "Vampire Diaries" star recently told Fashion magazine she would not be walking down the aisle "anytime soon," despite rumours that boyfriend Ian Somerhalder is set to propose.

Justin Bieber's "Believe" tour doesn't hit Ottawa for another three months, but online scammers are already taking advantage of the pop singer's devoted fans in our nation's capital.

The concert, not surprisingly, sold out Ottawa's Scotiabank Place in under an hour. Also not surprisingly, ads soon popped up on sites like Kijiji and Craigslist selling tickets for the show. One Ottawa DJ even paid $400 to a "Montreal mother" who said she found better tickets for herself, her daughter, and her two cousins and was selling her old ones. They never arrived.

Paulina Gretzky revealed a lot more than her famous bod in a new interview with Complex magazine. Hockey icon Wayne Gretzky's daughter finally responded to reports that her dad put a stop to her hobby for sexy social networking.

"The rumor that my dad made me shut down my Twitter account is completely false," she said, adding, "It's hurtful when this older generation of people that doesn't really understand me or take the time to get to know me trashes me."

The 23-year-old model-singer-actress, who has the number 99 tattooed on her pelvis, said, "I'm not a bimbo. I have an eight-year-old sister. The only thing I want to do is be a role model."

Nina Dobrev and Miley Cyrus are both hot young Hollywood starlets. But there are a few key differences between the two: One is blond and the other brunette, one prefers Pilates and the other yoga, one sings and the other falls in love with vampires on television.

Oh, and they also have vastly different ideas about settling down with a husband and a family at a young age.

When asked about her and her 33-year-old boyfriend and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder, 23-year-old Toronto native Dobrev was quite clear with Fashion magazine that her ring finger is itch-free, as opposed to those of other young celebs that come to mind.

Olympic trampoline athlete Jason Burnett may look nothing like Michael Cera, but he once played him on the big screen.

The 25-year-old Olympic trampoline hopeful has revealed in a new interview with the National Post that he stood in for Cera in the 2010 big-screen adaptation of "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."

"I doubled Michael Cera there," said Burnett, who won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. "I'm in the first fight scene, being exploded in a big fireball, flipping onto the stage. That's me. Watch the credits. You won't actually see my face or anything ... But, yeah, I did a little stunt work."

Missy Franklin has a lot of reasons to smile today. Not only did the 17-year-old from Colorado just win a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics and set a new American record in the 100-metre backstroke, but international superstar Justin Bieber actually tweeted at her.

"heard @FranklinMissy is a fan of mine. now im a fan of hers too. CONGRATS on winning GOLD! #muchlove" the Biebs tweeted to over 25 million followers a few hours after Franklin won her medal.

The message was retweeted about 4,700 times, obviously gaining Franklin a few more fans (@zeyma1998 responded, "@justinbieber now im a fan of @FranklinMissy ;)") and making her the envy of both music and sports fans around the world.

With all the hate talk that usually follows Nickelback around, it's easy to forget that the Alberta band actually has admirers. But here's some proof: Last week, a fan wanted to see their show so much that he suffered a 40-foot fall trying to attend.

Kevin Beaudette, 22, was lucky to have only suffered a few bruises and scrapes after tumbling down a massive gorge in Saratoga Springs, New York, on Tuesday night. According to the Times-Union newspaper, he was reportedly trying to get into the Nickelback concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. A statement from SPAC President Marcia White said Beaudette "appeared to be intoxicated."
