Justin Bieber’s London tour stop hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.

The Canadian crooner, who was widely criticized for his “worst birthday” tantrum over the weekend, irritated his faithful fans and their parents Monday night by taking the stage nearly two hours late. But the 19-year-old is already doing damage control, insisting the story is being blown out of proportion though issuing an apology anyway.

The Biebs was scheduled to take the stage at London's O2 Arena at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. However, the young star didn’t hit the stage until 10:20. While typically Beliebers think the star can do no wrong, they grew impatient while waiting – and concert footage showed them booing from their seats.

But does the 26-year-old actress from Port Perry, Ont.t, think her life is perfect? Not exactly. As her interview in the print edition of the Canadian fashion mag reveals, she misses her native country!

“The fact that we’re still talking about women’s reproductive rights, and that gay men and women cannot get married[in the U.S.], is baffling. I have such a huge issue with it,” VanCamp told Fashion. “I really appreciate our country, because these things aren’t issues in Canada, and they’re massive issues here.”

Legendary guitarist Pete Townshend let his rock’n’roll attitude get the best of him last month when he mouthed off to a fan's 7-year-old daughter in Hamilton, Ont. But now the Who's guitarist has offered an olive branch to put the incident behind them.

“Apologies and condolences from my side, and very best wishes to you and your family,” Townshend wrote in a letter to Eric Michael Costello, who saw Townshend and the Who perform in Hamilton with his daughter Janey.

In a video uploaded to YouTube by another fan at the concert, Townshend spotted the father and daughter with a sign that read “Smash your guitar, Pete!” then ripped into them in front of the crowded Copps Coliseum.

Canada's favourite celebrity couple has called it quits. Alison Pill and Jay Baruchel have split after getting engaged two years ago, Us Weekly reports.

The news may not come as a surprise to some eagle-eyed fans of the couple. Last month, Baruchel reportedly got his Twitter followers in a tizzy when he tweeted, "Alone again, naturally. Heartbroken. I won't be on twitter for a while gang. Getting dumped rules." The 30-year-old "Sorcerer's Apprentice" star then deleted the message.

The now-defunct couple was engaged in December 2010 after getting to know each other on the set of the Baruchel's hockey film, "Goon." They had planned to wed last September in Quebec, but their work schedules (Pill, 27, currently stars on HBO's "The Newsroom") were originally cited as the reason the wedding didn't take place.

Justin Bieber may have had the “worst birthday” on Friday night, but he found someone to make the celebration a little better: British singer-model Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke.

According to U.K. newspaper The Mirror, the teen duo (she’s 17) first met months ago – while Bieber was still with Selena Gomez – in Los Angeles, where she was recording. But over the past few weeks, the pair has been spotted all over London, including at a Justin Timberlake concert following the Brit Awards in late February, as well as the “Beauty and the Beat” singer’s 19^th birthday, which abruptly ended when his 14-year-old pal Jaden Smith was reportedly not allowed inside of a nightclub.

So, who is Ella-Paige Roberts Clarke? Besides having a super-long name, the beauty – who is denying a romance with Bieber – has a lot in common with him.

It seems Justin Bieber’s 19th birthday wasn’t really the worst, after all.

After the star tweeted “worst birthday” early Saturday morning, word quickly spread about a confrontation outside London club Cirque Du Soir when Bieber attempted to bring several under-aged people inside. Supposedly amongst that crew was 14-year-old Jaden Smith.

Well, the Biebs insists such stories are based on a ridiculous tale told by the club, and set the record straight on his Instagram.

“The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club,” he wrote beneath an all-black, blank image. “U think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don't think so. 2nd I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn't stay at their weak ass club so they wouldn't look bad for me walking in and right back out.”

Stephen Amell made his first public appearance with his new wife, Cassandra Jean, this weekend.

The 31-year-old "Arrow" star flew into Toronto's Pearson airport on Saturday with his model bride just in time to present at the inaugural Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday. Arriving from Vancouver, the duo were prepared for the frosty weather sporting matching black toques and cozy jackets.

"It's a-- cold in Toronto," Jean tweeted on Saturday. "I'm not even entirely sure what that means, but it's that serious."

Seth MacFarlane could learn a thing or two from Martin Short. The Canadian comedian was anything but short on laughs as he hosted the first ever Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday night in Toronto.

Presenting the inaugural event (which recognizes excellence in Canadian film, TV, and digital media), Short fell back on some tried and true jokes for the big night. Most notably, he resurrected his famous character, Ed Grimley, the frenetic "kidult" from his "Saturday Night Live" days in the mid-'80s. The high-waisted nerd with the Astro Boy hairdo joined "Beauty and the Beast" star Kristin Kreuk to present Meg Tilly with Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role in "Bomb Girls," the Global TV series about women working in a weapons factory in the Second World War.
