They were already Sagkeeng's Finest, but now they're Canada's, too.
The jigging trio from Fort Alexander, Manitoba was the audience favourite in "Canada's Got Talent" and was crowned the first season's winner during Monday night's finale.
Brothers Dallas and Brandon Courchene and their dancemate Vince O'Laney were up against some stiff competition, including 12-year-old crowd-pleasing ballet dancer Shale Wagman. But it was Sagkeeng's Finest's routine, mixing their traditional jigging with elements of tap (a first for them), that nabbed them the grand prize: $100,000, a Nissan GT-R, a show in Las Vegas, and an appearance at the Citytv New Year's Eve bash.
