On vacation in St. Tropez, Simon Cowell looked a little pink from a day spent under the strong, hot French Riviera sun. But that didn't stop him from getting a good look at a couple of moons.
The "The X Factor" exec and former "American Idol" judge went shirtless on a rented yacht, as his friend and "Britain's Got Talent" judge David Walliams joined Sir Elton John on another boat nearby. As the two boats passed each other, Walliams and Sir Elton both reportedly pulled down their drawers and really gave Cowell something to scowl at.
Sadly, there isn't any photographic evidence, but Walliams did tweet, "I just mooned Simon Cowell. From a boat. That is true." Later, he also wrote,"And then someone a million times more well known than me mooned Simon Cowell too," including link to this article in The Sun about Elton John's participation in the prank.
We hope Cowell was a little more forgiving of Walliams and John's performances than he usually is when he judges his various reality competitions. "The X Factor" is set to return to the air on Sept. 12, where newcomers Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will join him at the judge's table. And judging from the pre-season drama, this may be Cowell's last chance to relax and have a few laughs.
