She was born in Israel, her husband's from France, and even though she's from New York, she lives in Los Angeles. Natalie Portman is a well-travelled woman, so it's no big surprise that she had a destination wedding this weekend.
Two years after getting engaged, the 31-year-old "Black Swan" star finally married fiancé Benjamin Millepied on Saturday in a traditional Jewish wedding at her "favourite" getaway, Big Sur, Calif.

Portman wore a simple white dress designed by Rodarte and accessorized with a wreath of wild flowers. Her 35-year-old ballet dancer hubby wore a tux and both were photographed wrapped in a prayer shawl during the ceremony, which took place under a chuppah (a Jewish wedding canopy) at a private residence.
Saturday's moonlit wedding was strictly vegan, according to People, foregoing animal products to celebrate the bride's dietary tastes. The couple danced and ate alongside their son, Aleph, and celebrity guests including Ivanka Trump and Macaulay Culkin.

Portman and Millepied met on the set of "Black Swan," in which the groom played a dancer, and announced their engagement and pregnancy in December 2010. They reportedly exchanged vows earlier this year, a rumour tipped off by the fact that they showed up on the Oscars red carpet with a new set of rings.
But they always planned a ceremony in Big Sur, according to In Touch.
"It's one of Natalie's favourite places, whenever she needs a break from LA she goes there," a source told the mag in July.
