If you were the star of a film that just celebrated a record-breaking opening weekend, what would you spend your money on? Diamonds? Real estate? A koala?
Well, if you're Jennifer Lawrence, you have other purchases on your mind. The 21-year-old "Hunger Games" actress admitted in a new interview that she is going for something a lot more affordable.
"When I get my first real cheque, I want to bathe in a pool full of pasta," she told Interview magazine in its April issue.
With a worldwide weekend take of $214 million, "The Hunger Games" is set to give Lawrence a nice payday. Though she made only $500,000 upon being hired to play Katniss Everdeen, she will reportedly receive more than double the amount thanks to bonuses related to the film's profits.
So, why the pasta fetish? It makes a little more sense considering that, according to Lawrence's trainer, Joe Horrigan, the actress had to reduce her "saturated fats" and adjust her carb intake while gearing up to play Katniss.
"She had to have enough carbs to train," he explained. "If you put her on too low of carb diet then she wouldn't have the energy and would affect her ability to perform."
That explains the pool of pasta. It takes a lot of energy to burn through $1 million, after all.
