"The Hunger Games" has already etched a place in movie history, earning more than $460 million worldwide since it opened March 23. Now its star Jennifer Lawrence is being immortalized in another way: Mattel has turned her character, Katniss Everdeen, into a Barbie doll. Of course, this isn't your average Barbie, wearing a sparkly pink gown or bright red lipstick. Like "The Hunger Games" heroine in the books and movie, the doll version of Katniss is designed to be pretty badass! She's decked out in the outfit she wears during the movie's fighting scene, with her signature mockingjay pin on her lapel and her trusty bow and arrow slung over her back. The doll's designer Bill Greening told Entertainment Weekly that his team examined Lawrence's actual costume from the film to make sure every aspect of the toy was perfect. "The doll's minimalistic style and details — such as her loosely braided hair and makeup-free look — also really embody the heroic character Katniss," he told EW.Read More »from Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Hunger Games’ character Katniss becomes a Barbie

That cute little guy we know as Justin Bieber isn't so little anymore. In case you haven't noticed, the Biebs, who turned 18 last month, is quickly becoming more mature, and seems to be making more sense almost every time he opens his mouth. The "Baby" singer shared some of his pearls of wisdom in a new interview with Seventeen magazine.
First, Bieber spoke openly about his career, which only seems stronger after his successful holiday album, Under the Mistletoe, and his latest hit single, "Boyfriend." Although a lot of people have questioned whether the pint-sized pop star will be able to hold on to his fans as he ages, Justin doesn't sound worried about it at all. "A lot of times, when artists grow older, they lose their younger fans because they're just trying to get older fans," he reveals to the mag. "But if you try to make good music, then you'll just appease everybody. I just want to make music that's good for everybody."Read More »from Justin Bieber: I’m just trying to make Selena Gomez happy

There's no denying it: Chloe Moretz is one adorable 15-year-old. And the "Kick Ass" star is flaunting it in the May issue of Seventeen magazine.
In the interview, the self-confessed "Gossip Girl" fan dishes about all kinds of things, most notably her adoration of her older, fashionable friend Blake Lively, with whom Moretz co-starred in the 2011 film "Hick."Read More »from Chloe Moretz, Blake Lively had a ‘shoe party’
Katy covers Teen Vogue.
If you listen to pop radio at all, then you know singer Katy Perry is already everywhere with hits like "Firework," "E.T.," "Last Friday Night," and the list goes on and on. Soon, however, she'll also be coming to a movie theater near you, starring in a new documentary/3D concert film about her latest tour that Katy swears will give us a different perspective about her. "One of my main reasons for doing this is that people think of me as though I'm Dorothy in the ruby slippers," she tells Teen Vogue, referring to " The Wizard of Oz." "I want them to see everything else that's involved. Yes, I am her, but at the end of it all, I'm also the guy behind the curtain."Read More »from Katy Perry: ‘I’m tired of being famous already’

Kardashian little sister Kylie Jenner, 15, and 14-year-old singer Cody Simpson fueled rumors that they're dating by catching a screening of "21 Jump Street" at The Grove in L.A. Tuesday. You'll remember that the two were photographed together for the first time during an outing to the outdoor shopping mall last November, shortly after meeting at the Hollywood premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1." Perhaps inspired by the notoriously private love lives of the film's stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who've stayed mum on their relationship even though everyone knows they're dating, Kylie and Cody have refused to confirm their status. In fact, Cody declared earlier this month that he's single and ready to mingle with the right kind of gal. He revealed to HollywoodLife.com that his best advice for the young ladies hoping to catch his eye is to "be yourself. If you want to be anyone in this world, be you," he said. The Aussie import recently insisted to the Mail Online that he and Kylie are just friends who "laugh about the dating rumors," and called Kylie and her 16-year-old sister Kendall "very close friends of mine."Read More »from Kylie Jenner and Cody Simpson take a date night

If this is what passes for Katniss' fatness, bring it on!
"Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence is causing quite the stir this week as steamy swimsuit photos of the actress surfaced online. The pictures were outtakes from a shoot she did as a little known indie star with men's magazine Esquire in 2010. However, the outtake photos have since been removed from the web.
In the outtakes, the "Hunger Games" star showed off her dewy and enviable figure in a previously unseen two-piece black bathing suit and a high fashion cut-out suit.
"I'm excited to be seen as sexy," she told the mag at the time. "But not slutty."Read More »from Jennifer Lawrence’s Esquire photo outtakes hit the web
U.K. boy band One Direction is headed in one direction indeed -- but it doesn't point towards the White House. At least not this year.
The "What Makes You Beautiful" crooners met Michelle Obama and first daughters Malia and Sasha at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards in L.A. last weekend. They reportedly broke the ice by asking how to order a pizza to the presidential home, a dazzling piece of wit that earned them a personal invitation to the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll on Monday.
Unfortunately, band members Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry, and Louis had to respectfully decline.Read More »from One Direction turns down White House invitation

There's a reason why "The Hunger Games" is still making headlines, even after its opening weekend at the end of March. Not only is the long-awaited film adaptation of the hit novel No. 1 at the box office for the second week in a row, and not only does one of the main stars deliver a mean rendition of the Super Mario theme song, but the "Hunger Games" movie is also raising controversial issues of race and body image.
There was already a controversy over the race of the characters Rue, Thresh, and Cinna. Now fans and critics from publications such as the New York Times and Salon are expressing "concern" over actress Jennifer Lawrence's "well-fed" or "big-boned" appearance, claiming it was unrealistic in a series called "The Hunger Games." (For the record, we think Lawrence looks great in the film and in real life.)
Well, JLaw certainly isn't letting the comments get under her skin.Read More »from Jennifer Lawrence responds to ‘fatness of Katniss’ criticism
It must be tough being a star of "The Hunger Games." It's a very physical, grueling job, with millions watching your every move. But Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the box-office smash (still No. 1 in its second weekend in theatres), finds relaxation in the most adorable place: a game of Super Mario Brothers.Read More »from Josh Hutcherson sings ‘Super Mario’ theme song
Get ready to see Taylor Swift's shock and awe face this weekend! The singer/songwriter will be honored with The Big Help award presented by none other than Michelle Obama at the 25th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday. (The First Lady herself took home the honor in 2010 for her Let's Move! campaign to fight childhood obesity.) The award, which recognizes people who take actions to better the world and inspire kids to do the same, will go to Swift, 22, for her work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude Medical Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the Red Cross, among others. Taylor's efforts include raising $750,000 for storm victims in southern states by selling tickets to a dress rehearsal for her Speak Now tour last year. She also invited leukemia patient Kevin McGuire to be her date to the Academy of Country Music Awards this coming Sunday.Taylor Swift (Paul Kane/Getty Images), Michelle Obama (Vallery Jean/FilmMagic) Read More »from Taylor Swift to receive award from Michelle Obama
