    • Miley Cyrus: Let’s talk about sex!

Miley Cyrus continues to distance herself from the Disney image that was created for her as a girl when she landed the starring role in the "Hannah Montana" TV series. In an interview on Lifetime's "The Conversation" on Thursday, the 19-year-old showed she's evolved from a child star into an opinionated young woman and gets candid on a variety of topics, including sex.

Talking with host Amanda de Cadenet about how women, especially young girls, aren't encouraged to have a voice when it comes to sex, Miley had a lot to say. "I was just talking about this — the girls who base how much they're worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody. That makes me really sad because sex actually is really beautiful," said Cyrus, who is dating "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth. "It's the only way that we create and it's the only way that the world keeps going. So it's ignorant not to talk to your kids about it or not make it seem as magical and cool as it actually is."

    • Kiernan Shipka wears her fave dress on the red carpet. (Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage)

When 13-year-old Kiernan Shipka stepped into the role of Sally Draper in AMC's stylish 1960s-set drama "Mad Men," now in its fifth season, she got more than a long-running job. As the actress tells omg!, she also discovered fashions from the era of the show. "'Mad Men' has definitely influenced my style," Kiernan said at Lucky magazine's Fashion and Beauty Blogger Conference in Santa Monica, California. "I love prints, and I love florals, but I was kind of introduced to the silhouette of a dress I wear pretty much all the time [on the show]. It cinches in [at] the waist and then it goes out a little bit. That's probably my favorite silhouette, and I have to say that I did pick that up from the dresses that I wore on 'Mad Men' in the beginning seasons." She added, "And definitely 'Mad Men's' inspired me to go vintage shopping and just really to look at lots of cool pictures of the '60s online to see how style was back then and how it compares to now."

Justin Bieber's sound isn't the only thing that's changing as he grows up. The 18-year-old, who recently released the slower jam "Boyfriend," is transforming more every day from the little guy fans met on YouTube in 2007 into ... a very rich man, albeit still with perfect hair. As Bieber reveals in a new interview with GQ, he's even (shock of all shocks!) tried alcohol before, although of course he's under the legal drinking age of both the U.S., where it's 21, and his native country of Canada, where it's 19. But, as Bieber insists, he doesn't get wasted. "For me, it's just like, I like to be in control of myself," he tells the magazine. "I mean, I've had a beer, like, before … but I never get out of control." (GQ writer Drew Magary tried to entice Bieber to meet him at an adult venue such as a bar or a strip club for the interview, but his handlers nixed those ideas and opted for a recording studio instead.)

The previews for the upcoming film "Snow White and the Huntsman" show a world that's much darker than Disney's 1937 animated classic "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." There's no sign of singing dwarfs, and especially no prim princess wearing a sweet little frock. This Snow White gallops on horses while wearing armor, and if she has to wear a dress, it's going to be dark. So as director Rupert Sanders explains, one young actress, known for her slightly rebellious attitude, was a perfect fit for the role: "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart. "[This Snow White's] not a damsel in distress relying on the handsome prince to save her," Sanders reveals to Elle in a new interview with Stewart, 22. "She's someone who bonds the men together to reclaim the kingdom. And Kristen was exactly what she personified: tough, independent, resilient."

The odds were not in Josh Hutcherson's favour this week.

Despite the heads-up he gave them last week, Hutcherson's fans went wild when the 19-year-old "Hunger Games" star was photographed on Monday leaving a doctor's office in Beverly Hills with a bandage beneath his nose.

Hutcherson tweeted "just had surgery to fix my broken nose" on Wednesday, also saying "recovery sucks...thank god for a marathon on lifetime...#theclientlist thanks @thereal_jlh."

But it turns out his "broken nose" wasn't actually broken after all.

On "Modern Family," Sarah Hyland portrays Haley, a boy-crazy teen who's most worried about the relationship with her on-again, off-again boyfriend and whether she'll get into college. But in real life, the 21-year-old actress has quietly been dealing with a medical issue that make those problems seem, well, quite small. As she reveals exclusively to Seventeen magazine in a new interview, Hyland's fought a lifelong battle with kidney dysplasia, a condition in which a baby's kidneys don't develop properly in the womb. Shopping at Cartier in Paris is a luxury that most of us will never know, but it's just another day in the life of 11-year-old Willow Smith. The "Whip My Hair" singer spent Thursday browsing the French jewelry store during a getaway in the City of Light. Of course, she sported her signature funky style (a little Nicki Minaj with some Justin Bieber thrown in) with a red fedora, a white button-down shirt tied up, black leggings, and tall black boots — not exactly what you think of when you picture someone who wears Cartier. Maybe the tween was picking out something for mom Jada Pinkett Smith to unwrap this Mother's Day?
