"Real Housewives of Atlanta" diva Kim Zolciak is known for her lavish lifestyle — who can forget her $1 million wedding? — so we can't say we're all that surprised that the baby name she selected for her new son is ... Kash.
Yes, Kash.
Kash Kade Bierman was born on Wednesday, the 34-year-old "Tardy for the Party" singer announced on Twitter. Zolciak said that she and her husband, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, were "sooo excited" about their new addition and feeling "so blessed." The baby joins big brother Kroy Jagger "KJ" Biermann, Jr., 14 months, and Zolciak's daughters from a previous relationship: Brielle, 15, and Ariana, 9.

Zolciak's name selection is getting a lot of buzz because, if you've caught even a minute of her on TV, you know she's a big spender — and we aren't just talking about just her wig budget. In her Bravo spin-off "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding," viewers were given an inside look at her $1 million wedding, which included three outfit changes, totaling close to $100,000! And her wedding cake — does anyone even eat cake at a wedding? — set her back a cool $14,000. "We spared no expense, you only do this once," she later told Life & Style magazine. "It was very expensive, but we were in a position to do it, and I'm thankful for that."
Everybody seems to be a critic when it comes to celebrity baby name selections, and this case is no different. Following Zolciak's birth announcement, she's been getting feedback on Twitter, including @CriticLady, who wrote, "Congrats but that's not a good name, not one bit." Then there was @malisaann who tweeted, "She spelled cash wrong." And @Khalisar said, "What a cheesy name or should I say keesy name!!!!"
Speaking of keesy, Zolciak's name does seem a little Kardashian inspired. "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" matriarch Kris Jenner famously gave her daughters "K" names: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie. Zolciak is clearly a fan of the family. For her Oct. 2011 nuptials, she seemed to copy several details from Kim's wedding to Kris Humphries — from the three outfit changes to the K&K monogram all over the place. Zolciak has also been known to tweet things to Kim, Kris, and the Kardashian klan — though it doesn't appear she's received much Twitter love back from the first family of reality TV.
Meanwhile, critics take note: Kash isn't actually that unusual of a baby name. Since 2008 it has grown significantly in usage. And it's a modified version of the name Cash, which many celebrities — from Slash to Big & Rich singer John Rich — have given their offspring through the years.
