Jessica Simpson can't get enough of her new daughter Maxwell Drew — and neither can we! On Thursday night, the new mom tweeted a family portrait featuring herself, her fiance Eric Johnson, and their chubby-cheeked offspring sharing a group hug during an Independence Day party.
"Hope everyone had a great 4th!" wrote Simpson, 31, who had on a festive starred sweater.

In the photo, Johnson cradled Maxwell in one arm and hugged Simpson with the other. The baby, who was dressed in white, floral-print, footed pajamas, greatly resembles her father, but appears to have Mom's eyes.
Following the arrival of Maxwell in May, Jessica opened up about life as a new mom. "When she looks at me, my heart melts," Simpson told People magazine. And although the Texas native recently announced she'd be launching a bridal collection for her fashion label (fitting as she a bride-to-be), Maxwell is her top priority. "She's my career at the moment," Simpson said. "I know I was always meant to be a mom, and I think I'm doing a really good job."

Another priority for Simpson is losing the baby weight she gained while expecting the little one, who is named after Johnson's grandmother and Simpson's mother. She inked a celebrity endorsement deal with Weight Watchers and has been regularly hitting the gym in Los Angeles.
"After you have your baby it's like, 'Oh my God, what happened to my body?' This is not me," the "Fashion Star" mentor told People. "It would be nice to feel comfortable in a bikini, but that's not my goal. I just want to fit into jeans!"
