Jessica Simpson is clearly a proud mama. On Tuesday, the singer-turned-fashion mogul tweeted an adorable photo of her daughter Maxwell Drew, who was born on May 1. "Howdy friends," Simpson wrote in the caption, which accompanied the pic of her big-eyed (and big-lipped!) little girl in a red-and-white striped onesie. Just a few days before, the new mom tweeted a photo of her post-baby cleavage as she prepared to take a stroll around her neighborhood with the message: "Street legal?"
This new pic is the first time the public has seen Maxwell since she made her debut on the cover of People magazine on May 30. "Life has completely changed," Simpson, 31, told the magazine. "From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!" The new mom and her fiancé, former NFL player Eric Johnson, also revealed that their first child has inherited her famous mother's eyes and her daddy's calm demeanor. "We stare at her all the time," said Simpson of Maxwell, whose first name is Johnson's middle name (Drew is Simpson's mother Tina's maiden name). "We can't get enough!"
Since Maxwell's birth, Simpson has been hard at work in an attempt to regain her pre-baby figure. She's been spotted a number of times in recent weeks hitting the gym with her trainer Harley Pasternak. The star reportedly inked a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to be a spokesperson for the company once she sheds all the weight. "After you have your baby it's like, 'Oh my God, what happened to my body?' This is not me," Simpson told People. "It would be nice to feel comfortable in a bikini, but that's not my goal. I just want to fit into jeans!"
