Larry Birkhead says there is nothing wrong with his 6-year-old daughter striking a pose for Guess.

Birkhead, 39, appeared on "Good Morning America" to talk about Dannielynn following in her late mother Anne Nicole Smith's footsteps by launching a professional modeling career as the new face of Guess Kids. Although there are many critics of his parenting decision — the biggest being that the young schoolgirl should be kept out of the limelight, which essentially destroyed her mom — Birkhead noted that modeling is actually a way for Dannielynn to connect with the mom she never knew.

"Dannielynn has always looked up to her mom's image and said her mom's an angel," Birkhead, a photographer, told "GMA" on Tuesday. "I think that this is kind of Dannielynn's way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way. ... To see her mom's picture next to hers as a Guess girl and say, 'Hey, I was a Guess Kids girl, my mommy was a Guess girl,' that might be her only connection with her mom."

Parenting isn't easy — even for celebrities. A week after Jon Bon Jovi's daughter, Stephanie, was hospitalized for an apparent heroin overdose, the rocker is speaking out about the ordeal.

"It's human," Bon Jovi, 50, told Fox 11. "What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamorous but if you don't take it too seriously it's a great way to make a living. And then life goes on. Things happen. This tragedy was something that I had to face too. So we'll get through it."

He also thanked his fans for their support during the difficult time. "People's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring," he said. "So, we're good."

Courteney Cox and her daughter are kicking off the Thanksgiving holiday early — with a sunny getaway to Miami Beach!

The "Cougar Town" star and her 8-year-old, Coco, touched down in the Sunshine State on Sunday for some sun and fun. They're staying in a posh hotel with ocean views (natch!), and have been regular fixtures at the beach and pool.

Coco, in a pink bikini, went back and forth between her hanging with her little pals and her mom.

There appeared to be nothing but love between the women when they came together with their children to watch the Warren Easton Charter High School marching band perform in New Orleans on Tuesday. The 48-year-old actress, who was casually dressed in jeans and a T-shirt with the school's name on it, was holding her number one guy: her 2-year-old son, Louis. Alves, who is expecting her third child early next year, had both Vida, also 2, and Levi, 4, in tow.

The women talked, smiled, and laughed during the duration of the concert, which took place in a grocery store parking lot. At one point, they casually plopped down on the pavement with their little ones between them — not at all bothered that the conditions weren't exactly VIP. It was a chilly day, so Alves, 30, pulled her wrap around her two kiddos to keep them warm.

While walking home from her posh private school, Avenues, in Manhattan on Tuesday, Suri hammed it up big time, making a series of very funny faces at a classmate as they said goodbye on the street. Upset to be parting ways, Suri first frowned dramatically at her friend. Her silliness then escalated when she stuck her tongue out — almost as if she was catching snowflake … though this was the day before the nor'easter hit New York City.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard will soon hear the pitter-patter of little feet!

The couple, who have been engaged for nearly three years, announced that they are having a baby. "Yes, they are expecting their first child in late Spring," a rep for Bell confirmed to omg! on Monday.

Over the summer Bell, 32, and Shepard, 37, said that they were ready to start a family — and they noted they didn't have to be married to do so. "We'll have [children] out of wedlock," Shepard told Larry King during a joint interview to promote their film "Hit and Run." "We're not worried about that." Bell chimed in, "It doesn't really bother us."

Gisele Bündchen has modeled swimsuits time and again, but over the weekend she received special notice because her pregnant belly was on full display.

The Brazilian model — who is reportedly having a Christmas baby — enjoyed a little sun and fun over the weekend in Miami. Donning an animal print bikini and straw hat, she lounged in the sun with a friend. When she later packed up to leave, the 32-year-old slipped a black, curve-hugging beach cover-up over her tiny bathing suit.

Although her husband, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots had a bye week, he wasn't with Bündchen for her beach day — and neither was their son Benjamin, 2. Brady also has a 5-year-old son from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Regardless, Bündchen clearly had rest and relaxation on her mind as she kicked off the weekend. On Friday afternoon, she shared a modeling photo of herself — in which she's frolicking in a bathing suit under a waterfall — with her nearly 1 million

We have no idea what Jessica Simpson is supposed to be, but one thing is for sure: she looks fantastic! The new mom showed off her major weight loss (she reportedly has dropped 60 of the 70 pounds she gained while pregnant with her daughter) in a super-tight costume, which we can only describe as a sexy barbarian, as she posed with her fiancé Eric Johnson (in a "Braveheart"-inspired getup) and little "chicken," Maxwell. It was one year ago today that the singer-turned-fashion mogul announced she was expecting when she posted a photo of her "mummy" costume, a major hint at her impending motherhood.

Simpson, 32, certainly has good reason to be proud of her post-baby body. She has worked hard to regain her famous figure between participating in Weight Watchers (she's a spokesperson) and burning off the calories by hitting the gym four times a week with her personal trainer Harley Pasternak, in addition to walking about 14,000 steps every day. "In over 20 years, I've never seen as consistent a weight loss," he tells Us Weekly about his famous client. "Jessica's right where she needs to be … She's gotten so much stronger."
