When it comes to the world of fashion, there's not a lot Jessica Simpson hasn't conquered. Her Jessica Simpson Collection features shoes, jeans, dresses, swimwear, jewelry, handbags, perfume, and now ... maternity wear. The new mom, who gave birth to her baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1, unveiled her Jessica Simpson Maternity line on Monday. The collection of tops, maxi dresses, denim, jackets, blazers, and sweaters will be available at 700 stores, including Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, and Macy's, at prices beginning at $36 this fall.

Like the designs in her Jessica Simpson Collection, Simpson's maternity looks will be casual chic, featuring basics that can be dressed up or down and have a "vintage '70s feel," according to the press release. "Full of breezy, everyday pieces, the collection is aimed at the modern mom-to-be who wants to maintain her fashion edge throughout her pregnancy." Jessica added that, "I'm so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great! You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off." The 31-year-old first-time mom stayed stylish during her pregnancy, often donning sky-high heels and printed dresses that hugged her tummy.

Hilary Duff's transition into motherhood has been so easy she worries she's going to annoy other mothers out there with some of her new mom stories.

Appearing on a special Mother's Day episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday, Duff talked about her 7-week-old son Luca Comrie, who she says has been a dream baby. "He's sleeping, which is incredible," the 24-year-old said on the talk show. "I feel weird, because it seems like I'm bragging, but he sleeps from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. It is possible, ladies! It didn't happen right away, but the past three weeks he's an 11 to 6er."

Take a look at any celebrity news outlet these days and — among the stories about baby bumps and luxury delivery rooms — another parenting theme has emerged: adoption. Dozens of stars, from Sandra Bullock to Katherine Heigl to Charlize Theron, have all famously adopted children recently, often going out of the country to do so.

International adoptions were indeed on the rise for years, but despite the fact that half the members of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's brood of six hail from foreign countries, or that Madonna and her two adoptions from the African nation of Malawi made headlines, the number of Americans adopting from outside the country has actually plummeted recently, thanks to a variety of complicated factors including the enforcement of an inter-country adoption treaty, which has forced some agencies that can't comply out of business, as well the uncovering of corruption in certain nations. Of the approximately 130,000 or so adoptions that took place in America last year (of which, more than a third consist of a stepparent adopting a stepchild), surprisingly, less than 10,000 involved children from overseas. The majority of the remainder, according to Adam Pertman, executive director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, are adoptions from foster care, and — despite the little ones we see celebs taking home — those children are rarely babies.

When actress Julie Bowen is asked to compare her parenting style to that of her "Modern Family" character Claire Dunphy, she's quick to admit that her hyper-organized, ultra-competitive alter ego has the advantage. "Claire's better at being a mom, because she's been doing it a little longer. I mean, technically, I guess we're the same age, but she started having kids younger. Also, her only job is being a mom, which is, for the record, the hardest job on Earth," Bowen, who's mom to 5-year-old Oliver and 3-year-old twins John and Gustav, tells omg!. "I can't wait for the days when I get to go to the set and have somebody bringing me coffee. Fantastic! If I were a stay-at-home mom, which I'm not sure I could do because it's so hard — it is just too hard — I think I would be more like Claire than I am like me. I love a white board. I like a schedule. I really like giving everybody a color and drawing it on the board and assigning them their schedule and their tasks, but my life is just so busy that I don't really get to follow through on it. So I think in my fantasyland, I would be more like Claire. But in reality? I'm just sort of making sure I've swept up the glass, and I let the rest of it go." For instance, Bowen, who's been married to real estate investor Scott Phillips since 2004, admits that putting the boys to bed these days is a bit of a challenge. So, the other night, she decided to try the opposite approach and get her little guys up and moving. "And we had the loudest 45-minute dance party, and then they passed out. I can't do that every night — I'd kill myself — but that worked. It was kind of fantastic." She adds, "Having the twins and Oliver, three kids in two years, was probably the best parenting choice I never made, because it's forced me to be way, way more relaxed because I can't control them all. I would love to control them all, but I can't. So, you might as well enjoy it."

After sharing her baby news with the world on May 1, Jessica Simpson has been keeping a low profile, presumably adjusting to motherhood — and those exhausting around-the-clock feedings. But yesterday the "Fashion Star" mentor surfaced to spread the news that everything in her world is perfect.

"I am so in love with baby Maxwell," Simpson, 31, wrote on Twitter Tuesday evening. "I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."

Since Charlize Theron announced in March that she had quietly adopted a son, we've been waiting for a glimpse of the Academy Award winner's little one — and, finally, here he is!

Theron, casually dressed in jeans and sunglasses, made her way through Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France on Tuesday with just one carry-on: her son Jackson. It's the first time the 6-month-old boy, who was adopted stateside, has been photographed in public. Soon after she brought him home, Theron did bring him out in Los Angeles to run errands, including a stop to get his passport (perhaps for this very trip!), but the doting mom kept his baby carrier covered with a blanket.

Whenever you see photos of Jennifer Lopez with her 4-year-old twins, Max and Emme — whether they're playing on the beach or visiting the Easter bunny — they appear to be the picture of happiness. But the "American Idol" judge says it wasn't always perfect. Right after she gave birth, she suffered from a serious case of baby blues, making it hard for her to bond with her little ones.

"I remember after the babies were born, about seven to 10 days in, I was like, 'What is going on with me?'" Lopez, 42, says in the June issue of Redbook. "I felt sad and depressed and thought the babies didn't love me."

Lopez, who had her twins with her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony, says she actually turned to the book in which her latest movie is based upon — What to Expect When You're Expecting written by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel — in order to better understand her feelings.

Will Ferrell acts like such a big kid all the time that sometimes we forget that he has children of his own. Three of them, in fact — all boys. The funnyman did the school run on Thursday, picking up middle son Mattias, 5, in West Hollywood, California.

The Ferrell fellas were similarly dressed, wearing sci-fi T-shirts (his, which said "Sleestak," is a nod to the lizard men in his 2009 movie "Land of the Lost," while Mattias opted for a "Star Wars" theme), shorts, and sneakers. The actor carried his son's library books.

Ferrell, 44, had time to pick up his son from school this week, but next week his schedule will be jam-packed. He's headed to the East Coast to prep for his "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig on May 12, which will be the third time he's hosted the NBC comedy sketch show since he was a regular cast member a decade ago. The musical performances will be provided by Usher.
