Getty ImagesFans of Alanis Morissette are falling head over feet in response to the news that the singer is releasing her first album in four years.

The 37-year-old Canadian (whose last musical effort, "Flavors of Entanglement," was released in 2008) has announced she will drop her seventh studio album this year.

MTV reports that "Havoc and Bright Lights" will be released Aug. 28. But for those who can't wait, the first single, "Guardian," will hit iTunes on May 15.

It seems that Bruce Wayne isn't the only one with an alter ego.

In 1989's "Batman," Vicki Vale was a journalist investigating the winged superhero, but off screen, actress Kim Basinger was singing a different tune -- literally. At the time, the actress was starring in the era's biggest super hero movie and dating one of the most recognizable pop stars of the time, Prince, who also happened to be the man behind the film's soundtrack.

So, is it any surprise that Basinger's next step was trying to achieve her own musical success?

Millenium FilmsAmanda Seyfried has appeared for the first time as porn star Linda Lovelace, and the results are a little unexpected.

Complete with tanned skin, feathered hair, and disco makeup, the 26-year-old "Lovelace" star definitely looks '70s-ready, but Seyfried isn't quite the mirror image of the real star of one of the first mainstream adult films.

Linda Lovelace, whose real name was Linda Susan Boreman, rose to fame after showing off her, uh, unusual skill set in 1972's "Deep Throat." She was a fresh-faced New Yorker who was very pretty, but she didn't have the bombshell good looks of Seyfried.

Victoria Beckham was enjoying an L.A. Lakers game Tuesday night, when the Kiss Cam suddenly landed on her and her soccer star hubby, David Beckham.

Juno Award-winning musician Lights unexpectedly attended the North American premiere of the Marvel movie on Monday night, stealing the spotlight from the film's stars and stole when she flashed a large Hulk tattoo on her back.

"Back in Toronto!" she tweeted ahead of the event. "Heading to The Avenger's premiere, a sweet homecoming."

Dressed in very "Dragon Tattoo"-esque gear, the 25-year-old electronic musician from Timmins lifted up her leather jacket and grey hoodie to reveal a tattoo of a the Hulk's green hand grabbing a woman with the words "Unstoppable" wrapped around her.

While her dad is famous for playing 90 per cent from the neck up, it looks like Paulina Gretzky is intent on making her name from the neck down.

Wayne Gretzky's 23-year-old daughter made headlines in November when she shuttered her Twitter account amid reports that the Great One pressured her to do so after she posted overly provocative pictures of herself. The wannabe model returned to the social networking site a week later with slightly less suggestive photos.

But after making a show-stopping lingerie-clad appearance at a club last month, Paulina Gretzky seems to be back to her old tricks. This time it's on the picture-sharing app Instagram, where she recently posted some photos of herself in a bikini and cavorting with male friends in Las Vegas.

Though Gretzky reportedly removed her pictures soon after posting them, the Vancouver Sun captured the photos before they were deleted.
