"Ahhh! I'm so excited to be @MaximMag 's April cover girl!" Fishel tweeted on Friday.

Bianka Kamber's charitable side has got legs.

The "Bachelor Canada" winner and husband-to-be Brad Smith attended Operation Smile's Toronto Smile Event at the Windsor Arms Hotel on Thursday, along with a handful of other famous faces, including Lydia Hearst and Ben Mulroney. The reality TV stars were there to help celebrate Operation Smile's 30th anniversary after helping perform almost 250,000 free surgeries on children with deformities like cleft palates.

Smith showed up to the "black tie optional" event sporting a charcoal suit with a baby blue silk tie, while his fiancée wore a short black dress, all the better to show off her legs with. The 28-year-old nurse from Ontario, who has admitted she has a weakness for shopping, put her high-cut frock to good use, flashing her shapely gams (not to mention her pearly whites!) for the cameras.

    • Dan Aykroyd to promote Ottawa acting talent in new film

Dan Aykroyd will soon be able to count Shirley Douglas as a fan.

A week after Kiefer Sutherland's mother slammed Canada's meagre star system, Aykroyd has announced he will be shooting a cameo for a short film that will promote the acting talent in his hometown of Ottawa.

Aykroyd is reportedly travelling to Canada's capital city later this month to take part in "We Work Ottawa," a five-minute film that will be pitched to Canadian and American film producers.

This sounds like people are responding to Douglas's rally cry at the 11th Annual ACTRA Awards last month, where she received the 2013 Award of Excellence for lifetime achievement. On Feb. 23, the 78-year-old "Wind at My Back" star blasted CBC for not promoting its stars by name and pointed out that Canada-centric celebrities are few and far between.

    • Jane Lynch raps Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Bass’

Jane Lynch is no stranger to covering songs -- she does it all the time on "Glee." But Coach Sylvester tends to be more of a Madonna girl, so it was surprising for us to learn that Lynch will be covering rapper Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" on an upcoming show.

But in an interview with Conan O'Brien this week, the 52-year-old actress proved she could bust out some phat tunes on command after telling the host that she sat next to Minaj at Elton John's Oscar party last month. When O'Brien asked if Lynch could still remember the lyrics of her new "Glee" cover song, the Emmy winner then proceeded to close her eyes and do an impressive chunk of the 2010 tune.

"It took me so long," she said afterwards. "I worked so hard on that."

Christoph Waltz may be a two-time Oscar winner, but back in the '70s, he was just a baby. A baby who sang and danced.

Next Movie dug up a 1977 clip of the 56-year-old Oscar winner, in which Waltz plays a character named Stargast on the Viennese children's show "Am Dam Des." In a pair of rainbow-coloured spandex overalls and a tight red turtleneck, Waltz sings his heart out as he reportedly plays the New Year baby.

"I am the new year, younger than the old year. How much younger, you ask me? 365 days exactly," the Austrian actor reportedly trills in German.

    • Edward Furlong sentenced to six months in jail for probation violations

Edward Furlong has been sentenced to six months jail time in connection with an alleged assault on actress Monica Keena. (Getty Images)

In perhaps one of the oddest '90s culture collisions ever, Abby Morgan from "Dawson's Creek" and John Connor from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" dated for about four years.

We made the connection after news broke this week that Edward Furlong (who played John in the hit 1991 movie) was sentenced to 180 days in jail for violating two different probations involving Monica Keena (who played Abby on "Dawson's Creek" from 1998 to 1999).

According to TMZ, one of the probations arose from two arrests -- one which alleged Furlong used force against Keena, and the other from a protective order that banned him from contacting his ex. Furlong was sentenced on Monday in Los Angeles.

    • Mila Kunis’s ‘Oz’ interview is pretty adorable

Forget "Oz: The Great and Powerful"! Mila Kunis recently had a powerful experience of her own during an interview.

In London last month to promote her new film, in which Kunis plays naive witch Theodora, Ashton Kutcher's gal pal helped put first-time interviewer Chris Stark (of BBC's Radio 1) at ease. The 29-year-old actress motivated him telling him he was doing "fantastic."

Kunis enjoyed Stark going off topic to talk about Jagerbombs, football (European style), and Nando's chicken restaurant. "This is way more fun for me," she said, holding the mic and imploring Stark not to continue with his "Oz"-related questions. "This is the best interview I've had all day."

    • Jay Baruchel and Alison Pill split: A timeline of their relationship

Canada's favourite celebrity couple has called it quits. Alison Pill and Jay Baruchel have split after getting engaged two years ago, Us Weekly reports.

The news may not come as a surprise to some eagle-eyed fans of the couple. Last month, Baruchel reportedly got his Twitter followers in a tizzy when he tweeted, "Alone again, naturally. Heartbroken. I won't be on twitter for a while gang. Getting dumped rules." The 30-year-old "Sorcerer's Apprentice" star then deleted the message.

The now-defunct couple was engaged in December 2010 after getting to know each other on the set of the Baruchel's hockey film, "Goon." They had planned to wed last September in Quebec, but their work schedules (Pill, 27, currently stars on HBO's "The Newsroom") were originally cited as the reason the wedding didn't take place.
