It’s no secret that Joan Rivers’s jokes about meeting Adele at the Oscars – you know, the ones where Rivers puffed up her cheeks and arms in an impression of the 24-year-old soul singer – didn’t go over well with a lot of the public. But it seems Australian comedian Adam Hills is the angriest of everyone.

The 42-year-old host of “The Last Leg” on the Britain's Channel 4 blasted the 79-year-old Rivers on his show, calling her a “jaded, bitter old mole.”

“30 Rock” is over, and so is her gig hosting the Golden Globes, but on Thursday night, Tina Fey proved that she is still on top. At least when it comes to the classic game “Pyramid.”

While appearing as a guest on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Fey and Fallon went head-to-head in the guessing game “Pyramid,” paired with partners from the audience. Fallon was matched with Meagan from Hoboken, N.J., and Fey’s lucky partner was Ryan from Toronto.

We should have known right away that, with a Canadian by her side, Fey was bound for victory from the get-go. And alas, the formidable team of Tina Fey and Ryan from Toronto missed only one word in three rounds of guessing. (They didn't have it easy, either, having to play with the themes “Saved By the Bell,” “Give Me Five,” and “'I' to the ‘O’ to the ‘N.’” Fallon, the gracious loser, performed five pushups as his punishment.

Anti-bullying advocate Anderson Cooper is sticking up for another helpless victim mercilessly picked on by legions of mean-spirited tormenters: actress Anne Hathaway.

The 30-year-old star of “Les Miserables” may have walked away from this year’s Oscars with a golden statue for best supporting actress, but she also got a whole lot of hate with it. Critics groaned at her Oscar speech, calling it over-rehearsed and disingenuous. She also had to apologize to Valentino for switching her red-carpet gown to Prada at the last minute.

But she has at last one guy in her corner. This Thursday, the 45-year-old host of “Anderson Live” unleashed a rant of support for the maligned actress with an Oscar-worthy performance.

It’s very sad that Rachel McAdams and her boyfriend Michael Sheen have seemed to call it quits after three years together. They were a really cute couple and seemed very much in love. We all know that they never went more than three weeks without seeing each other, and there were even wedding rumours. Seeing as Michelle Williams and Jason Segel also broke up this week, fans are mourning more than one Hollywood couple this month.

But some fans are looking on the bright side of McAdams’s newfound singledom – that is, she’s now available to get back together with her former fiancé, Ryan Gosling.

“Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams Is Single Again,” Ology.com titled its article on the rift between McAdams, 34, and Sheen, 44.

They just keep on coming, don’t they? Joan Rivers is the latest celebrity to spark an angry backlash over fat jokes about the award-winning singer Adele.

While appearing on the “Late Show with David Letterman” this week, the 79-year-old comedian discussed her time at this year’s Oscars by pointing out two “disappointments.” One was that Brad Pitt didn’t show up even though Rivers was told he would be sitting next to her. “And I really thought [he would be], since there was a booster seat,” she quipped.

The other was meeting Adele, to which Letterman naturally replied “Oh, yeah, lovely woman.” In response, Rivers puffed out her cheeks and held out her arms in a gesture referencing to the 24-year-old soul singer’s body type.

When 22-year-old Jennifer Lawrence won the Oscar for Best Actress on Sunday, it wasn’t only her family (who swarmed her in a giant bear hug as she held her statue) who was proud. Nicholas Hoult, whom Lawrence dated from January 2011 to January 2013, reveals he is “very, very happy for her.”

"I'm thrilled!" Hoult told E! News on the red carpet for his own new movie, “Jack the Giant Slayer.”

The 23-year-old British actor is best known for films like this year’s zombie romantic comedy “Warm Bodies” and 2002’s “About a Boy” opposite Hugh Grant, as well as the darker and more dramatic TV series “Skins.” In "Giant Slayer" (which also stars Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, and Billy Nighy), Hoult shows off his chops as an adventure hero. In fact, he’s well on his way to achieving the star power of his famous ex-girlfriend.

There was no red carpet, no eager reporters, and these gowns were far less glamorous than the ones usually seen on Hollywood A-Listers. But newlyweds Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively looked more than happy to be at a Sudbury, Ontario, hospital on the day of the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, the “Blake and Ryan Reynolds” Facebook page uploaded a photo album of the beautiful couple visiting Sudbury’s Health Sciences North's pediatric unit. Nine photos show the casually dressed husband and wife smiling with hospital staff, sick children in bed, and a pair of brand-new parents. In a few, 36-year-old Reynolds and 25-year-old Lively wear yellow hospital gowns, and in others they each take turns holding a newborn baby.

Jessica Chastain had more than one reason to smile at the Oscars on Sunday night. She was nominated for Best Actress for her role in “Zero Dark Thirty,” sure, but she was also visibly thrilled when she talked to “Extra” host Mario Lopez about her new love interest, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo.

Phew! With a name like that, he must be a good catch. He's have to be to snag 35-year-old Chastain, the talented star of the stage and screen. Though she brought her grandmother down the red carpet at the Oscars, Chastain revealed that she was “very, very happy” with her romantic life.

“It’s a wonderful thing when a career does so well and your personal life goes so well,” she said.
