    • Can you guess which one of these kids grew up to be a comedy star?

      Instagram

Some celebrities are born famous, while others have to spend years practicing and perfecting their craft. Sometimes, as a photo recently uploaded to Instagram by a famous comedian demonstrates, those years of hard work and practice begin in childhood.

Though this photo might suggest that one of these children is now a world-renowned jazz dancer or a musical theatre star, that's not the career he ended up in. Though he did get his big break in New York City, he was more often found in grungy stand-up comedy clubs than the big stages of Broadway. While studying marketing at New York University in the early 2000s, he became a familiar face at the improv club Upright Citizens Brigade – also known for launching the careers of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. His connection to Poehler would come in handy later in both of their careers.

If you’re still stumped as to which of these bedazzled tappers is now a big name in comedy, just look for the one that doesn’t look like the others. Even as a kid, this funnyman knew how to stand out from a crowd. So, who is it?

    • Wil Wheaton explains why it’s awesome to be a nerd

In a few years, one little girl in Calgary will be the envy of nerds around the world.

At the Calgary Comic Expo last weekend, former “Star Trek: The Next Generation” actor Wil Wheaton received a unique request from a fan: a Calgary woman stood up in front of a large crowd and asked Wheaton to explain to her unborn daughter Violet why he thought being a nerd was awesome. As one of the world’s most famous self-proclaimed “nerds” or “geeks” (a title that has earned him a recurring role as himself on “Big Bang Theory”), Wheaton was more than qualified to answer her query. And he did so in a beautiful way that is now going viral online.

    • Kelly Osbourne’s bumpy trip to Australia

      Ryan Pierse/Getty Images

Kelly Osbourne is a TV host, singer, actress, author -- and now, she's also a columnist for the newly re-launched Australian magazine Cleo. The 28-year-old former reality star was in Sydney this week to help celebrate the mag, and to look at her on the red carpet, you’d have no idea of the rough week she’s had.

Osbourne played it classy with her shiny purple hair twisted up into a beehive, framing her face with a pair of dramatic chandelier earrings. Her black lacey dress that showed off her toned legs and arms was cute, but maintained a rocker edge to it. And above all, Osbourne looked happy and proud to be working with the women’s magazine.

Osbourne seemed to be in relatively good spirits, especially since she heard the sad news that her cherished family dog passed away over the weekend.

As Drew Barrymore demonstrated this week, apparently it only takes five hours to go back 20 years.

The 38-year-old actress went for a five-hour marathon appointment at her salon on, and when she emerged, she looked much like she did in her early 20s. Barrymore traded in her chocolate locks for a lighter, brighter shade of blond for reasons unknown.

    • Keira Knightley rumoured to wed James Righton this weekend

Keira Knightley famously had Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp fighting over her on the seven seas in “Pirates of the Caribeean,” but in real life, a rock star has won her heart. Knightley and her fiancé James Righton are rumoured to be tying the knot this weekend.

The U.K. Mirror reports that the couple is planning a wedding near their home in Southern France, inviting about 100 friends and family members to join them for the “intimate” and top-secret ceremony.

“They’ve all been told not to travel in big groups, to arrive separately and to all spread out where they’re staying so as not to draw attention to the wedding party,” a source said.

That seems to be their style. Knightley, 28, and Righton, 29, began dating in February 2011 after being introduced by TV personality, model, and fashion editor Alexa Chung, a mutual friend. Righton popped the question about a year and a half later, in May 2012. But besides strolling down the streets of London or packing on the PDA at the Toronto International Film Festival, these British lovers have kept their relationship very quiet; they haven’t even attended a red carpet together.

    • Rachel McAdams and Bradley Cooper nix romance rumours

Newly-single Rachel McAdams went for lunch with the apparently attached Bradley Cooper earlier this month. Onlookers said they were “flirting and laughing” for nearly two hours together, which then sparked rumours of a romance between the two actors. And then, just as quickly, those rumours were squashed.

It seems that McAdams and Cooper were only discussing an upcoming film by Cameron Crowe that Cooper and Emma Stone have already signed onto. McAdams is rumoured to be joining the cast as Cooper’s former lover in the romantic comedy along the lines of “Jerry Maguire” and “Almost Famous.”

Their lunch date may have been about business, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t a few sparks flying between the two A-listers. And though fans might be disappointed if McAdams starts dating anyone other than Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper might actually be a good choice!

    • Matthew McConaughey defends Justin Bieber’s shirtlessness

There probably aren't many people that Justin Bieber could claim as fashion inspirations, but Matthew McConaughey could definitely fall into that category. After all, he rocked the shirtless look years before Bieber even created his first YouTube account.

So, given Bieber's recent affinity for baring his chest for the world to see on Twitter, on Instagram and inside airports, it's only fair to ask the 43-year-old actor what he thinks of the 19-year-old pop star stealing his style.

"No, no, no, no, no ... I'm not saying you've got to wear a shirt in an airport, especially, I think, he's flying private he can wear whatever he wants," McConaughey told MTV this week.

She’s getting into character to play the Black Widow in the upcoming “Captain America” sequel, so Scarlett Johansson has traded her signature bombshell blonde locks for a fiery red.

    • Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford celebrate one year of marriage in New York City

Actress Carey Mulligan and musician Marcus Mumford tied the knot on April 21, 2012, on a drizzly day at a farm in Somerset, England. Since Mumford popped the question after only dating for five months and the engagement only lasted nine months, their first anniversary this past Sunday means this artsy couple has been man and wife for almost half of their entire relationship already!

Luckily, they seem like they’re still going strong. On Monday, the pair was spotted walking through New York City and grabbing lunch in the East Village. They both looked casual as they strolled hand in hand in jeans, sweaters, and light jackets, shielding their faces from the sun with large sunglasses. Mumford, 26, had his wedding ring in full view, while 27-year-old Mulligan’s was hidden out of sight (since her husband’s hand was holding it - aww).

    • Rebel Wilson goes glam for ‘Pain & Gain’ premiere

      Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage

As we saw on the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14, Rebel Wilson knows how to make an entrance. But as it turns out, the 27-year-old Aussie actress doesn’t need a load of lighting cues and choreographed dance moves to do it.

At Monday night’s premiere of Wilson’s new film “Pain & Gain” (which so-stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Mark Wahlberg), Wilson stunned fans and photographers with her most glamorous red carpet look yet. Matching a bright red sequined dress by Theia, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and an Irene D purse, Wilson also sported a dramatic pair of ruby red lips. Her golden blonde hair, worn straight and long, contrasted a pair of silver high heels from Aldo (she’s thrifty, too!).
