Nothing can ever help someone get over the death of a child, but for Kelly Preston, her religion definitely eased the pain. In an interview with Amanda de Cadenet for Lifetime's "The Conversation" on Sunday night, the actress, who is married to John Travolta, opened up about how Scientology got her through the January 2009 death of her 16-year-old son Jett, who hit his head during a violent seizure while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas. "In Scientology, we have what's called 'auditing,' and that helps you to address things in your life and to strip them away," explained the 49-year-old. "It's a path of spiritual enlightenment. Also, it helps rid the mind of painful experience completely. Through that, the people at my church literally held my hand and got me through ... I will forever be indebted. You never forget, but I feel like the weight of the world was lifted."

    • Stewart dresses in drag in the June issue of Elle (Tom Munro)

The previews for the upcoming film "Snow White and the Huntsman" show a world that's much darker than Disney's 1937 animated classic "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." There's no sign of singing dwarfs, and especially no prim princess wearing a sweet little frock. This Snow White gallops on horses while wearing armor, and if she has to wear a dress, it's going to be dark. So as director Rupert Sanders explains, one young actress, known for her slightly rebellious attitude, was a perfect fit for the role: "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart. "[This Snow White's] not a damsel in distress relying on the handsome prince to save her," Sanders reveals to Elle in a new interview with Stewart, 22. "She's someone who bonds the men together to reclaim the kingdom. And Kristen was exactly what she personified: tough, independent, resilient."

    • Travolta was reportedly banned from a NYC hotel spa. (J.B Nicholas / Splash News)

Although four men have come forward to accuse John Travolta of sexual assault, it seems the worst is yet to come. The second man, an Atlanta-based masseur, wants his case against the "Grease" star to go to trial, but with a private judge presiding, according to his attorney, Okorie Okorocha. This comes on the heels of a report claiming the plaintiff was planning to go to mediation with Travolta's lawyers and decide on the terms of his lawsuit out of court. "There is no mediation," Okorocha tells People magazine. "There'll never be a settlement. I want privacy for sex crime victims … "It looks like [Travolta's attorney Marty Singer] wants one hell of a fight, and that is what he'll get from me."

They were already Sagkeeng's Finest, but now they're Canada's, too.

The jigging trio from Fort Alexander, Manitoba was the audience favourite in "Canada's Got Talent" and was crowned the first season's winner during Monday night's finale.

Brothers Dallas and Brandon Courchene and their dancemate Vince O'Laney were up against some stiff competition, including 12-year-old crowd-pleasing ballet dancer Shale Wagman. But it was Sagkeeng's Finest's routine, mixing their traditional jigging with elements of tap (a first for them), that nabbed them the grand prize: $100,000, a Nissan GT-R, a show in Las Vegas, and an appearance at the Citytv New Year's Eve bash.

"Sons of Anarchy" star Kim Coates is a motorcycle enthusiast both on his FX series and in real life, and the actor proved it by riding his Harley in Regina on Monday to protest the province's plans to cut film funding.

The 53-year-old Saskatoon native, better known to his fans as Tig, the überviolent Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, led 75  motorcyclists from his hometown to Regina after flying into town despite the fact that his show started filming that very day.

The odds were not in Josh Hutcherson's favour this week.

Despite the heads-up he gave them last week, Hutcherson's fans went wild when the 19-year-old "Hunger Games" star was photographed on Monday leaving a doctor's office in Beverly Hills with a bandage beneath his nose.

Hutcherson tweeted "just had surgery to fix my broken nose" on Wednesday, also saying "recovery sucks...thank god for a marathon on lifetime...#theclientlist thanks @thereal_jlh."

But it turns out his "broken nose" wasn't actually broken after all.

It's been over a month since Quebec actress Genevieve Sabourin was arrested outside of Alec Baldwin's New York City apartment building, accused of stalking the "30 Rock" actor. But her lawyer now says it wasn't stalking at all.

"My client had a legitimate purpose for her efforts to contact Mr. Baldwin," said Maurice Sercarz in defense of his client, Sabourin, at a brief court appearance in New York yesterday. In addition to showing up to his home on April 8, she reportedly visited his property in the Hamptons uninvited and sent Baldwin numerous emails urging him to marry her and envisioning "creating Genevieve Baldwin." Less than a week before Sabourin's arrest, he became engaged to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.
